I enjoyed that.

He was the only Manager who came to SMS who I can remember had a standing ovation. The Northam sang "Theres only one Bobby Robson" and a great game followed with a 3-3 draw with Newcastle. The referee had a good game too, I believe it was Mr Dowd. RIP Sir Bobby, a great man and ambassador for the game.

Absolutely right about Mills. I saw him in a pre-season friendly at Exeter, 2 years ago and whilst he played well, he looked like a little boy. He has certainly come on in the 3 games I have seen this season and obviously the loan at S****horpe has done him a lot of good.

If you can only teach them how to take corners and get to the byeline before crossing, you will be made in heaven.
-
Good to see him back today and looking well.

Kevin Davis was poor with Blackburn and us seconed time around and look what has happened since. We must not boadly judge this lad before we have seen him for goodness sake. AP knows what he is doing.

I saw nearly all the home games last year and apart from one or two when he had a good game, in my opinion he was poor bearing in mind the money we were paying him. His shooting was atrocious and I think we are well out if true.

Really good, enjoyed watching it again this morning. Thank you.

Spot on. I went full of enthusiasm but came away depressed. The lack of goals in all our pre season games is worrying. We will have to see what today brings and the players AP can bring in over the next 3 weeks.

The list looks interesting. I saw on SSN that Glen Little and Michael Ball where trialling somewhere and Vassell had signed for some Turkish Club I believe. The other suggestions look good, as we are in dire straights for some goal getters/makers judging by the pre-season games todate.

A good appointment by the Board. Articulate, experienced, presents a good picture and has a wide view of the game. He ticks all the right boxes for me. Good luck Alan, we are behind you.

I remember here was trouble at Ashton Gate ,when we played them in an evening game the season before last.

Pardew appears to be ok.Better than Curbishley who shuts his eyes when he speaks. In body language speak this means he does not always believe what he is saying.

We will never be able to understand WGS again.

Never went the extra mile, looked the part but never delivered, too scared of big CB eg Darren Moore. Will miss the pace but that is all I am afraid.

The team is much too lightweight for L1, Rasiak disinterested and terrible first touch, Lallana lightweight as was Boyle, Reeves made Gillett look tall, although quite skilful, Saville & Mills ok at LB. We looked so small against that Bournemouth Team. When Lancashire comes across to tackle a winger, instead of taking him and the ball out as would Claus, Killer & Seijs, he would stand off and thus give the winger chance to tackle and beat him or pass to another with then Lancashire out of position. I do not know what has happened to Bart. Interesting to see Pulis in the kick around although he did not play. Very dissappointed after going with a lot of expectation. Best part: seeing the swiss flags!

This leaves a bad taste. Thank you for all the effort and loyalty over the past few months.

We must all support our new owner as he has supported us.
-
At his age, I doubt if he can improve that powder- puff shot of his. You need more than that to score goals from midfield in this or any other league.

How did the 2 goalkeepers perform? Did they command their areas and come out to catch high crosses?

The Company will also wish to put more Cranes into the Docks. Who better to buy them from and get planning permission for, than the Company who saved the Saints. The Council place tremendous value on the Football Club putting the City on the advertising map.

Those of us who are shareholders, will probably receive a Statement of Affairs after the assets of SLH have been sold and SLH is liquidated. We shall then see the costs of the Administration. Should the Company be liquidated if BT cannot find a buyer, the same will apply.
