606 now up, swearing has been removed but the reactions have not. 52:25 ish onwards to 57:00... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01cdnlb/606_25_02_2012/

Did you see the chap wearing the yellow Saints shirt? He was quality!

Watford were dreadful, cannot remember them having more than a couple of chances all game and none were on target. Saints came and although they didn't play well, got the job done. Couldn't help but chuckle at the 4 Police Officers patrolling the East Stand in case of "crowd trouble". Me thinks that there is a waiting list for overtime at Home games.......

If he (Green) was sent off for a foul, it will be a 1-match ban not 3, unless he has been sent off already this season? Palace may prove a stern test on Saturday after their 4-0 win last weekend.

Trevor "Open your eyes" Kettle is always pretty bad whenever I have seen him, especially down at Huish Park when refereeing Yeovil Town.
-
Sam Vokes to Brighton - loan deal until end of season according to SSN.
-
....in case anyone is interested, a few moments ago in the Brighton vs Newcastle game, Adam El Abd has just gone down clutching his face, rolling around etc following a robust challenge where Cabaye's foot accidentially brushed his head in the followthrough. Thankfully the referee and linesman did not buy into his over-the-top reaction... It will probably not make the highlights reel tonight, but provided further proof Brighton is still using the same 'make the most of it' tactics.

The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..
markr27 replied to SB's topic in The Saints
There's no urgency to sign anyone now - with the next league game after Leicester scheduled for Tuesday 31st Saints can take their time (unless the FA Cup is a priority). -
Hopefully Monday 13th / Thursday 16th then

According to http://www.thefa.com/Competitions/FACompetitions/TheFAYouthCup/Fixtures Saints vs Forest is scheduled for Saturday 11th February with 1900hrs kick-off - so would point towards Staplewood. Perhaps the Club may try to persuade fans to stay on at St Marys after the Burnley game if they plan to hold it there, but it would be a bit of a logistical nightmare getting both senior teams out the dressing rooms to let the youth teams in!

Hopefully Bamba will still be away in the African Nations, which would negate their aerial presence at the back. Seems ages until the game though!

Who is this week's mystery signing?
markr27 replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Didn't play today either for Palace... Start those conspiracy theories! -
Just seen the goals properly on SSN (I did watch the stream but missed the 2nd goal!) - red card was justified but the probable 3-match ban punishment seems a tad harsh. That "Julie" lad seems to be doing well. (The BBC Producer now seems to accept it is pronounced Ger-Guly, but we'll wait and see).

Corners have got better with Fox in the team - Schneiderlin can also deliver a decent ball. However with Fox, you usually see 1 or 2 a game that will sail over everyone at the near post, and bounce down into open space past the far stick....
-
Holmes against Watford is the one that springs to mind straight away..... could be wrong though?
-
I got a similiar cricket game for Christmas once year - a cloth-like pitch and outfield, fielders with a fixed stance, and batsman and bowlers with push/pull controls! I'm now going to look for it to see what it was called!!!
-
Can see him going back to Rangers as a replacement for Jelavic.
-
Possibly to do with Decembeard, to raise awareness for colon cancer.
-
I will let the big cheeses know their massive map in the office is inaccurate - whoops. :embarassed: Swanwick Lane (I think?) is clearly marked as the boundary for PO15.
-
Technically the last bit of the SO(uthampton) postcode area is about a mile after Junction 8 of the M27 (SO31). Pass over the marina and then go under the two bridges close together, the next overhead bridge you come to more-or-less is the boundary for PO(rtsmouth) 15 (One of the sad benefits of working in Logistics) I wonder if there will be any banners etc hanging from the bridges on the way down

I'd get a established young keeper in like Joe Lewis or Alex Smithies, someone that is prepared to be patient and initally be the backup yet still be capable of pushing KD for the No.1 slot. Bart to go out on loan to play regular football and prove he can potentially cut it consistently at 1st team level with Saints - unless this happens we'll never know.

I logged onto the site by chance on Thursday evening and saw that they were going up for sale the following day. Perhaps a fairer method would have been to put them for sale on Monday, and announce today at the game that this would be happening. I had the opportunity to get on the phone at 0830 yesterday as I was on the late turn, had it been next week I would have probably missed out.
-
Season Ticket holders may also be able to book online, despite it not be listed as an option on the OS - it is listed as "Buy Tickets" on my account, but not at all on one belonging to a non-Season Ticket holder.
-
The scramble has begun - I finally got through and then the entire system crashed! Thankfully all sorted out quickly after a reboot! The helpful lady I was dealing with suspects it could sell out to STH judging by the amount of calls answered/waiting in the first 30 mins - and that doesn't take into account any peeps waiting down at the Stadium.

Julie da Prado?
