  1. Nice post shot there from Boyd!
  2. Jesus Christ - only a matter of time for Posh at the moment.....

    Brian Howard

My source is very reliable and he knows nothing either
  4. 2:13 minutes worth now uploaded on sky... http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,16527_6812224,00.html
  5. They didn't show the Bournemouth penalty appeal either... very strange.
  6. The latter Toomer, I couldn't think of a harmless description at the time of posting! Don't think he'll be selected for the next game...
  7. Brilliant day down there... we were one once more as an away support! On the travel bus back Barnard just sneaked MoTM but only by a single vote from Lallana, Lambert and Fonte. Did anyone else see the ballboy getting a bullocking for his gesture as he walked past the fans... classic.
  8. Craig Dawson from Rochdale must be in with a shot as well at centre half.
  9. Initially I thought he was play acting, but if the images shown in the following link are real, it would be an understandable reaction. After he got clobbered, he got up on a rush of adrenaline to complain to the ref and show him what happened. Then he himself realsed...... http://www.epltalk.com/nanis-horrific-injury-from-jamie-carraghers-tackle-photos-29893
  10. Our consortium of four average 2.5 away games, and we have been successful. Went through late, so I'm guessing we were lucky to get them....
  11. I remember seeing Beattie score a penalty for the England U21s on TV - I have never seen a worst spot kick. Smashed straight down the middle, against the crossbar I think or perhaps at the keeper's head, hitting either then dribbling in over the line. When I saw his next spot kick on the box against Brighton I think (Cup game?), I was very surprised at his change of technique. Magilton always seemed to just smash them hard, low and straight as well, I always wondered why keepers never bothered to study his method!
  12. Just popped up on SSN's Ins/Outs that Puncheon has signed on loan with Blackpool....
  13. I hope to get there
  14. Already had three "can you get a ticket for me?" texts... Hopefully, ST holders will get first go, then to those that have been to all three cup games so far or a certain number of games this season etc, rather than straight onto general sale...
  15. Surely if Saints want Noone, they can put in a bid of equal worth, and then leave it upto the player to decide?
  16. LOL. May have seen you in there... Three guys behind us told us the news at around 1215hrs. Cannot quite work out why he left it for a further 90 mins from his intial pitch inspection - expecting the pitch and surrounding areas to dry out in temperatures close to 0c? The ice around the local area was quite bas as well, especially in the Industrial Park close to the Anglican pub.... I recovered just in time before going arse over tit.
  17. Isn't one of Brighton's other first choice stars suspended also? Liam Bridcott I think? Not saying we'll definitely win, but it certainly adds an advantage in our favour (as does Lambert's form to them)...
  18. Didn't even last the length of an amateur fight. Way out of his depth and should retire now and be remembered for being an Olympic gold medalist rather than a poor professional boxer.
  19. Second half Shrewsbury hardly threatened and it was all Saints, but they just had no end product and were choosing the complicated pass when a simple one would do far too often. Aside from a five minute spell during that period, I got the feeling that Shrewsbury had one eye on the replay and a possible TV pot of cash, but they were denied by the superb move that led to the opener. You can understand people leaving in injury time, but not five minutes from the end. Perhaps this result will stop that, for the next game at least... I still think the central midfield needs a box-to-box attacking midfielder, Ryan Harley at Exeter would fit the bill perfectly.
  20. Chaplow will probably play if he has no future at Preston and he's still here on Saturday. I think it'll be a Fonte/Jaidi combo at the back, with the former wearing the captain's armband.
  21. If Bignall does not get permission to play, a possible debut could be on the cards for Doble, or NA may revert back to a Lambert/Guly combo IMO.... I don't think you're far off though - could be that all the subs from Tuesday may start on Saturday...
  22. Looks like it will be on Saturday 6th.... http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/Fixtures
  23. Schneiderlin seems to be the best option IMO. Puncheon's are a bit hit and miss, by that I mean whether they curl out before they come back into play!
  24. From where I was sat in Block 10, Guly was definitely impeded. The players presumably didn't bother to protest as they thought it was a waste of time.
  25. That was bad.
