Smug Thread for People Who Have Their Wembley Tickets
markr27 replied to REDARMY79's topic in The Saints
Not smug, just a huge sense of relief I was able to pick the tickets up from St Marys. Had I not be able to do so, I would surely be one of the many still waiting for them. -
I cannot see who else AP could pick in the middle of the park, aside from Wotton. Simon Gillett surely won't come into the team from out of no-where, unless of course... ...well... could we see Pulis?
-
Antonio is injured. Davis James/Harding* Fonte Seaborne Mills/Harding Puncheon Hammond Spiderman Lallana/Waigo Barnard Lambert ...Perhaps? * If Harding plays right back tomorrow, he'll start there on Sunday.

When I asked about the Exeter tickets, I was told it was impossible for the club to let you know if you'd been successful or not. Therefore, it is probably best to just keep your eye on your online account, or wait for the postman to arrive with tickets.

Whats happened to the BBCiPlayer Football League show?
markr27 replied to countysaint's topic in The Saints
Maybe it'll be available after the Cov/Leicester game has taken place? SSN have shown the 3rd goal this morning, but I didn't see it. -
Wouldn't be surprised if James plays on Tuesday to perhaps prove his fitness. Maybe also Oxlade Chamberlain will start in front of him in midfield, with Puncheon switched to the left and Lallana rested. Or an Argent/James combo?
-
Do you think AP may dip into the loan market for an emergency right back? Do we actually have any fit players in that position (excluding make-shifts)?
-
Yeovil are pretty sound at home as well, I can see that one and Bristol Rovers being very tricky. The pitch surface at Huish Park *should* be one of the better ones in the league, it was completely relaid a few seasons back but it has been hit hard with the recent bad weather. I just hope it's played in dry and calm conditions

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?

Zipped down to ticket office and picked up our 8 tickets. Block 231 and will seated all in a line, shoes and shine. -

Hope to get mine today (after being instructed by the group to pick them up personally from the ticket office!) -
Was Hammond booked for kicking the ball away, or was that Morgan? I liked it when the ref had a go at Puncheon/Lallana about the time it took to take the corners... Saints can't do much if the left footer plays on the right wing!
-
Poor referee, Barnard I think didn't help his cause with his theatrics early on, but that doesn't excuse some rather questionable decisions (or non-ones). Puncheon again outstanding with the ball at his feet, Jaidi and Fonte the man mountains at the back. Jermaine Beckford was dreadful, as was his diving and falling over whenever Jaidi breathed on him. Indeed I cannot pick out many Leeds players aside from their No.3 Kisnorbo and Bromby (26) with his dangerous throws. All the others were completely anonymous.

He's a Premiership referee you know...... Quite how he failed to send Gradel off for lumping Harding I'll never know - did he even book him? (some around were convinced he booked Harding?)

One thing I forgot to do at first with the splash screen was put the space in between '/min' and '/nosplash'. Once it was instated, it was gone...
-
Disable the splash screen by following these instructions, and it's much better... http://www.elitekiller.com/files/disable_antivir_nag.htm

231 i think x8

Can't go as i will be in the General undergoing an op - but think Saints can just shade it.
-
Eventually (couple of false starts and doubts whether I did it correctly) bought 8 in block 231. I was greeted by the lovely busy screen at first logon, but got lucky with the second successive click on the HERE link next to the "10 minutes"! All that needs doing is to collect them....

issue fixed

Superb result! Hopefully this could be the start of a week where I think 7/9 points is a must.

Speaking of the Travel Club, are they really expecting EVERYONE west of Hook to get to St Marys to get on the coaches? This would then require people to drive down and park around the stadium and local area? No advertised pick-up points at Eastleigh (I'm sure they could run a direct service and fill 2/3 coaches up) or Winchester (Eastleigh's could cover)?

What I heard as well - he keeps Enterprise rentals busy in Chandlers Ford
