He is a credit to Southampton and to his country. Just thought his interview along with Cedric and his comments regarding being a traditionalist and returning to The Algarve for his holidays were humbling. There has been years of bad decisions by Soton City Council planners. When the big cruise ships arrive people are offered trips to different areas, you cannot walk from a cruise terminal into the town it's just too far. Unfortunately the planners are still making crap mistakes IKEA? Saints at home, nightmare to leave town. No main attraction in Southampton like the Spinnaker tower and its shopping area, restaurants which overlook the boats coming in etc. The footballers seem to like it around Winchester, Romsey and Whiteley? Don't any of them have gin palaces?

Does anyone else think that Saints are looking to do all their business early this year; so they can go away for pre season with a positive squad? no defectors etc

Here on Portuguese TV Friday night was the talk of Cedric signing for Premiership Club Southampton. Along side was the number 6 and Fonte's name. I think we will see more on Portuguese TV stations now we have 2 Saints members in the National Team. This has really pushed the Southampton FC name to the fore. When the Saints are on the TV and myself and two other supporters go up the bar, we are not smirked at anymore. The Portuguese say to us with some pride that Jose Fonte is our Captain, which makes a bloody change from having the manager of the blue team shoved down our necks. I think next season will allow us to hold our heads up even higher. Oh and the Liverhampton fans, well they are a shadow of their former selves. Jose Fonte I hope will become another legend at Saints roll on next season I shall be back for 5-6 games.

Seeing as Poch was so up his own what about swapping Osvaldo for Harry Kane. Afterall, Poch didn't rate Kane but obviously thought And bought Osvaldo.

Good luck to Jack Cork, he has been solid for Saints and at least he leaves on good terms with the management. He's still young and needs to play which the present management could not guarantee, everyone's open and honest about it. Good luck Jack.
