  1. He did and Inter showed no interest. Could be his wages, could be demands by Soton. When he is a free agent it will be better for him and to be fair, he could show more potential. Soton have made many mistakes just to get the cash in and continue to do so.
  2. Who said she was stupid? Looks like the bloke was stupid
  3. Indeed, he gave evidence against the Mayor to save his own bacon, perhaps, if he owes the Chinese govt money and we are relegated he might go the same way. Could this happen? Sounds like something out of a JB movie.
  4. Well Turkish, is he a bastard?
  5. The EU have said that if the UK Brexit then Scotland will too brexit. They can reapply but it would be more than likely that Spain would veto their joining due to Catalan probs. Spanish also having a say about Kosovo and their non interest of small broken away states and vetoing their joining. Also, the Scottish deficit is so high that that silly woman in charge of the SNP cannot see that they would lose all subsidy from jolly old Uk which prop up free NHS including teeth, medicine, education inc Uni etc who will pay for this the Eu? They are just not that stupid yet still Sturgeon walks around grinning can’t stand her so if it means they leave to get rid, good bloody riddance.
  6. Looking at today’s TV programmes Strictly, Apprentice and other reality crap on TV. Not finding today’s comedians very funny at all.
  7. Constantly played out of position by Manager. Constant put down by fans despite being played out of position, I would want out and as soon as possible. Chances are he will go to a club who will play him correctly and like Tadic at the moment who went for a song is now the local hero. Disrespectful just plainly like us all pi%%ed off.
  8. Actually, it tells you that Nelly lives in London. When did anyone last see her at the ground? Did anyone mention to her that she could get on a train out of London? Also wonder if she was given a golden visa that allows her to live here because of big investments in the UK.
  9. ONE DAYS WAGES! If they had had to lose one weeks wages, that would have hurt them not one bloody day.
  10. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/10/26/ralph-hasenhuttl-given-southampton-backing-board-decide-players/ I thought these comments were pretty spot on plus it looks like Nelly has a “golden visa” if she lives in London. Strange she isn’t a regular in the box in Southampton. Is this their level of commitment?
  11. Just come in from a meal out with friends and had to look twice at the score. What is going on?. I remember being at St Mary’s when we beat Sunderland 8-0. It became embarrassing even for us as the goals went in so easily. I can’t imagine how dismal it must have been to be at the ground tonight with the weather and the score. Why are they falling apart? What is happening behind the scenes?
  12. Incorrect, if you have been living abroad less than 15 years, you are able to vote in refendum and all elections, you just need to register with the last council you lived in. You can vote by proxy or post. I have recently been contacted by my local council to ensure I am up to date in case of a snap election. I have friends who live the other side of the world who voted as they have been away less than 15 years. The article does mention this. It’s up to the individual to find out about their rights, I am afraid a lot don’t bother they certainly as Hypcondriac says have a lot to say but didn’t vote therefore should shut up and put up. Many still can’t be bothered so even if a second referendum happened they STILL couldn’t vote. No sympathy at all.
  13. People who start their sentences with “so”. People who apologise for historical events that hundreds of years later are beyond control. People who are cruel to animals. Dog muck and owners who think they are superior (Brits abroad) Brits abroad laying drunk in the streets because they do it back in the UK.
  14. What an absolute load of cock and bull. No wonder the countries in a state it’s in, do you really think other countries tie themselves in knots over this? Everyone was bought up in different times when certain things were acceptable and others were not. Perhaps respect for each other should be a more prominent feature instead of racial arguments.
  15. French minister: EU won’t grant UK Brexit delay as things stand But UK chancellor says Boris Johnson wants a deal, not an extension. By ZOSIA WANAT 9/8/19, 12:07 PM CET Updated 9/9/19, 1:43 PM CET Brussels won’t grant the U.K. a Brexit extension beyond October 31 if circumstances remain the same, Jean-Yves Le Drian, France's foreign minister, said Sunday. “The British must tell us what they want,” he told Europe1 radio, Reuters reported. “We are not going to do this [grant an extension] every three months.”
  16. Politics shouldn’t get in the way of any friendships, a free vote is what democracy is built on. And Jeff, what happens when you are proved wrong? Will you move on then? (Looking on the bright side of life)
  17. Lifetime, too much political correctness. country and now SFC taping itself up with stupidity. No one can say anything without “your racial prejudice” being thrown into the equation. SAS, sad state of affairs
  18. The company in question is a family company that buys direct from Holland under EU regs. No, I am not willing to give the name of the UK company. I completely believe the family company as they are friends and have been for many years. It is a dishonest EU regulation as so many are. I am joining in a conversation in good faith, unfortunately, as with many things and to quote a typical footie quote “you don’t know what you are doing” or we really, really do not know what is going on. I too was shocked.
  19. If there is anyone out there, that eats Chinese I am afraid the chlorinated chicken comes via Asia. It is frozen in Asia, then sent to The Netherlands where it is defrosted, chlorinated and refrozen then sent to EU countries to Chinese restaurants. Apparently, it’s to gain the chicken texture and whiteness the Chinese like. My source is a Chinese food buyer for Chinese restaurants in the West Country. Just for your info, here in Portugal, the chicken in a Chinese restaurant is no different to that in the UK so again chlorinated.
  20. Got myself a ticket and will be flying over. C’mon you Saints....
  21. Talking to an Ajax supporter ahead of tonight’s game against Totty, Dusan is rated very highly and they cannot understand why we let him go for a measly sum. Good luck to him and hope Tottys cabinet under Potty stays as it is, empty.
  22. Mitchell looking to make decisions in the summer. A combined role along with promotion could bring him home.....let’s hope.
  23. Shurlock the above just proves my point which is whether you are in or out there is enough trash on the internet to give those who pour over to chew and spit out the deluge of junk found whether in or out. There is no proof as to what will happen if Brexit occurs as it’s an unknown quantity. Anyone can make a guess and there is enough info to fright the living daylights out of remainers but, on the other hand there is enough written to show the good that might happen. At the end of the day, every person must vote for what they think is correct in their owns minds and the class system that is so prelevant in the Uk has now resulted to who has a degree and who doesn’t. I have written enough on this subject. i got the above from a European website, but, I cannot tell you which one ....sorry.
  24. Switzerland is not in the EU so their Own Court is the highest whereas ours is the European Courts of Justice a reason why Brexiteers wanted to get away. Switzerland ignores EU deadline for treaty After four years of hard-fought negotiations, Switzerland has shrugged off a deadline for a treaty with the EU. It is concerned that freedom of movement requirements will flood the wealthy country with low-wage labor. Schweiz Val Bondasca (Imago/imagebroker) Switzerland stalled on a key trade and border deal with the European Union on Friday, ignoring a final deadline on the hard-fought agreement. The EU had hoped to sign the deal by December, but Switzerland has now backtracked and wants to push back further negotiation until the spring of 2019. Read more: Swiss feel Brussels' Brexit Bern What the deal is: The deal is meant to provide a framework for the 120 bilateral accords the non-EU member holds with the bloc. The draft text focuses on five areas: free movement of people, aviation, land transport, mutual recognition of industrial standards and processed farm goods. Under the treaty, the Swiss would routinely adopt EU single market rules and provide a more effective system for resolving disputes. The deal has been negotiated over the past four years and Friday was the deadline to sign. Why Switzerland won't sign: The Swiss said they have ongoing concerns about the deal. Unresolved issues mainly relate to protecting the Swiss labor market against cheap foreign labor. The deal has faced pressure from the nationalist People's Party and from trade unions, which are both worried the deal could lower Switzerland's high wage levels and grant EU citizens additional welfare rights in Switzerland. What the EU says: "We would like to make crystal clear that the final agreement text published today, including annex and protocols, was agreed by the EU and Swiss negotiators and is the result of long, intense and constructive negotiations," the EU executive body said. The European Commission said it "respects the will of the Federal Council to consult all the parties concerned" but called for "speedy" negotiations. It said the draft treaty was the best deal possible. Read more: EU Customs Union, Single Market, Brexit — What you need to know What now: Brussels has warned it will take a hard line on economic links unless Bern agrees to its major demands. The EU has threatened to not renew the "equivalence" status of the Swiss stock exchange, which allows EU-based trading platforms to buy and sell Swiss stocks. This would give the Swiss exchange a huge hit from trade volume losses. In retaliation, Switzerland has warned it will withdraw aid from eastern Europe and has made moves to bolster its exchanges. Apart from such moves, if talks fail, the current sectoral accords will stay in effect but relations would suffer badly and there will be no increase in Swiss access to the single market. The Brexit curveball: The talks have been complicated by the EU's negotiations on Brexit, with the Commission wary of going easy on the Swiss for fear of providing ammunition to Brexiteers. Meanwhile, many Swiss are happy to wait and see what sort of deal the British can extract for themselves out of the EU.
  25. implementation of austerity “in Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Portugal and Spain, where mass cuts and hospital privatisations have taken place, has resulted in an upsurge in infectious diseases, including HIV, and suicides I don’t know who writes some of this crap but honestly.....not in Portugal’s name please.
