That's the spirit! People pay a fortune for a seat then complain when people sit? As a codger myself I dont see the problem in watching a football match sitting down. Isnt that what you are supposed to do in an all seater stadia? It was brought in as a safety measure. If you stand up and you are pushed over a seat you can do yourself a great deal of damage so what is supposed to make you safer doesnt if people insist on standing.

After their first goal I thought we looked like a decent team. Cant really fault the second half performance. The difference is that they had Giroud (and what a quality finish that was) and we have Long. I dont understand how people are saying that we were ****e. We also don't have much luck.

I am not defending the Board, but we need to remember that it was the Board that also oversaw the "fabulous well designed project." Whether the owner will keep faith with the Board or make a cull, time will tell. But as a previous poster has said, managers fail all the time and the people who appointed them really get sacked themselves. It depends how much faith Mr Gao has in his Board members.

I am old enough to remember Charles Manson and his "family" and the Sharon Tate and LaBianca murders. Same sort of thing. He was a charismatic person who prayed on the weak willed and vulnerable and got them to do his bidding. I dont believe that religion (of any kind) is to blame per se. There are some though who use religion to manipulate those who are easily led.

Another 18 year old stabbed to death in London yesterday. Depending on what you read that is 60 deaths this year in London alone. Still, not to worry. None of the killers were apparently wearing headscarves.

Lottery numbers for this week please? Sorry Dalek, but it is not rocket science that a club of our size is going to go through down periods. There is no stone walled guarantee that a new manager or a new player will always work out. As long as we dont have mega resources we are always going to struggle at some point as all of the other clubs like us do. You can blow your own trumpet all you like, but you have only been stating the obvious.

So you are telling a lady who clearly has more experience of the wage gap than you have as a man that she is wrong just because you work with a few women who might disagree and you base your assumptions on all of the women this country's attitude on your workmates? Alcohol addition is now known as an illness and one that he was very open and honest about. Many players from the 60's, 70's and 80's came from a drinking culture. It killed George Best, messed up the likes of Jimmy Greaves, Paul Gascoigne and could well of been responsible for Wilkins' early demise. Yes, drink driving is wrong, but does alcohol dependency make you a bad person or just a flawed individual? I used to drink drive all the time in the 70's and I bet plenty of others here did and still do now. I am thankful that I never became dependent and feel for those that do but dont see why someone should be vilified after their death for having an illness that clearly made their own life more difficult.

And so are yours, so what? Your allegiance to the likes of Boris and Jacob speaks volumes.
