Really? I am not sure I believe you. It would be even funnier though if you had impersonator over there. If it wasn't you they were very good and had your wet lettuce persona off pat! You even have your own thread over there discussing whether it is you or not. Fame at last eh hypo!

Thing is you did used to post over there up until last August but you didnt get away with the rubbish you post there so you bottled it and took refuge back here. As for the site itself, there isnt the same level of bed wetting and wrist slitting. We do have a couple who would be better off here but in the main it is a lot more rational when it comes to football matters and it does have a sense of humour - something sadly lacking in the main here. But the major pluses are that hypochondriac no longer posts there and it doesnt have Batman, Shurlock and CB Fry. Give it a try for yourselves. It isnt everyone's cup of tea but if you are sick of the constant calls to sack people from the tea lady to the Board, and the biggest swinging **** competition between the forum bullies, you might find it a pleasant change. This place is badly in need of the internet equivalent of heavy medication, that and some decent moderation. It is all very well saying that abuse is not tolerated, but then prove it by doing something about it. A number of decent posters dont post here anymore which is not surprising. You'll find some of them over at Sotonians. Enough moralising for you Shurlock?
  3. Out with a knee ligament injury until November.
  4. He's back! What does "stock piking! mean?
  5. Beating on your own team to go down? And some here say our supporters aren’t sh*t!
  6. Not an unreasonable piece, although it won't placate the pitchfork brigade. Not sure what they mean about looking for a wide player even if they get Walcott unless they have told him he will play in the middle. As for Hoedt being Van Dyke's replacement - nothing wrong in that as long as we now finally replace Fonte.
  7. That would be Lemina and Hoedt then!
  8. To be fair I don't think that they need much fuelling.
  9. He didnt say that though did he. He just said there had been a cloud over the club and negativity. He didnt blame the VVD situation on where we are now. And no, no one at the club blamed the Fonte situation on a loss of form either. How do you know everyone is falling out with Reed? Once again, you make something up to fit your own agenda. Christ, how on earth did we manage 4 top ten finishes in a row? It must have been a complete fluke.
  10. Where have the club blamed our position on VVD? There is talk of a "cloud" and negativity and lets face it, having your best player sold by the media for months on end cant help morale within a club, but not once have I heard anyone from the club blame VVD for being where we are. The Chairman talked of joint responsibility and that everyone had to do better. Is that not taking responsibility for the situation rather than apportioning blame elsewhere? Not one of us knows what has gone on behind closed doors and yet there are many quick to jump to their own conclusions because they are desperate to pin the blame on someone. It seems to me our best chance of getting out of this mess is to pull together rather than seek and encourage division, but sadly that doesnt seem to be what many others want. When people hope that you lose a football match so that the manager might be sacked, you are well on the slippery slope downwards.
  11. Just watched an interview with a an ex senior police office conducted after there were four fatal stabbings in London in one day the other week. He said on the same day there were 5 non fatal stabbings in Sheffield. He also made the point that although it was unusual for so many stabbing fatalities at one time, sadly it wasnt at all unusual to have multiple stabbings in cities and towns across the country on Friday and Saturday nights. The point remains that when Muslims carry out these atrocities this place lights up like a Christmas tree, yet the same people dont bat an eyelid when the butcherers are "our own." But then you know that dont you? Not one to let that get in the way of a cheap jibe though. You are danger of turning into hypochondriac mate.
  12. There apparently has been talk of both Targett and McQueen being loaned out. If that is the case you would expect a new left back I would assume?
  13. But we dont do we. We had to sell initially to get things back on track but we dont have to any more. VVD went because we were offered silly money and he clearly didnt want to be here. Every club aims to get its recruitment right every season and every club buys duds. That would be a problem for us if we were reliant on buying and selling, but we are more self sustainable now so less of an issue.
  14. If anyone wants to read a well written piece about The Southampton Way and where we are now then go to Tom William's article today in St Mary's Musing. No histrionics. No knee jerk reaction. Just a well thought out and written piece about our philosophy and how it relates to the current situation. It makes a pleasant change to read something that isnt full of the usual bile. Sorry but I cant post the link.
  15. I'd be more than happy to score one goal a game for the rest of the season as long we didnt concede any.
  16. It has been a lot worse. The whole point of supporting a team is being there in good times and bad. It is obviously harder to support a team when things aren’t going well, but that is when they need support the most. If you can’t do that perhaps you will be better off supporting Citeh.
  17. Given that apparently only one Saints player (Josh Sims) was represented by Midas between Jan 2016 and Dec 2017 they aren't doing to well with the incentives. You might want to find another target to wave your pitchfork at.
  18. Reedist cult? Really? And whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty. Better get those pitchforks sharpened! I remember the days when Lowe was accused of embezzling money from the club. Still waiting for that to be proven.
  19. Not obsessed hypo, just amused at how even more hyper you have become on here of late. Shouldn't you be back at school yet?
  20. Damn, and there was me hoping he would give in to the pitchfork waving mob and get a forum of them together as a think tank. Dont tell hypo though, he has gone into overdrive since the Palace loss.

    Why???

The window has only just opened. How many players have changed clubs already yet the pitchfork brigade are already out in force. In fact they were out yesterday as a thread on the subject was started then.
  22. I agree about not wanting a bland site. Sadly though there are some abusive posters on here who go too far and are left alone by the mods. Some might find their posts amusing, but I wouldn't be surprised if they dont spoil it for the majority. I know plenty of people who no longer post on here because of the poor moderation and general abuse and I stopped paying my fiver for the same reason. It should be possible to have a disagreement without resorting to name calling or bullying.
  23. Not even half way through the second day of the transfer window and it has started already. Must be a record?
  24. Priceless. There were a lot more than two or three people slagging Mane off when he was here. I wonder if the same people would have him back now?
  25. Four young men were stabbed to death in London in separate incidents over the New Year but not to worry, these didn’t involve terrorists.
