I remember Luton from the 60s , climbed all the way up from Div4 to Div 1 ! I seem to also remember them sliding all the way down again.

Top managers wouldn’t come to Saints as they couldn’t buy top quality (very expensive) players . Until someone comes along with a massive investment (very unlikely) we will remain a small budget club.

Like many players that do well at one team he isn't for another ie Saints . Blackburn's system and the role he was given worked for them both judging by his goals there , our system plus Prem defenders aren't working well for him here.
