This will be where the game will be won. Boothroyd has a great record against the Saints but does he have a good one against Pardew. I can only think of Perry and Thomas that have been in the team against Boothroyd so other than that it should be a new experience for our newbies. What do you think?

I was in town today and I bumped into this lady with a Saints shirt, I asked her if she supported Saints and she said yes! Wicked or what?

It's okay what we have spent so far as we lost virtually 3 squads in 3 years. to get us back moving in the right direction we had to reform from scratch. I love the Reading, Hull and Wigan's way which is a good honest squad that worked for each other to the top league. With some promising youngsters that we have I would love them to have a chance to play a role too, don't kill the youth policy for silly spending please! Once you reachtrue premiership then it's a different matter because you need to spend some and mix it with youth to survive. Manchester United's way.

In my opinion, there are two ways to achieve promotion to the next division. One is through hard work with what we have, and the other way is too buy it. I often believe that when Manchester City win the Premiership it will be looked upon as not a great achievement because of the pathetic spending they did. I want Saints to get there but not with a silly spending spree of 5 million this January to capture some great players, please just get what cover we need and let the current squad take us up. I don't want supporters around the country to think we are the Manchester of the south. I'm beginning to wonder if Mr canteen has had a bad experience with MLT recently as he is obsessed by him. The day will come when the club will install a statue of him at the gates of St Mary's so that 99.99% of supporters can admire him for what he did for us. Shame the 0.01% will have the urge to **** on it!

A Leeds fan will say different though. I expect they have never heard of Lloyd James, Hammond and Papa so they will believe there's is better.

I don't think Leeds are playing too well at the moment, let them worry about us and plus let AP and the coaching team worry about how we set ourselves up as that's what they are paid for :-)

We have them the following Saturday so I doubt it will matter. If anything, Leeds go through then there league form could slump as the manks game will be on everyones mind.

Jealousy springs to mind.... IMHO the three best ones are left for the final, however I can't see any of them making it big time unless Olly gets a lucky break.

I will trust the judgement of the football club if they want Beattie back, there was so many stories of minor problems when he was last here and I do believe those problems follow him everywhere, I even saw a video shot of him on a mobile phone and it was only then I could not give a **** about him. There was a period we had to send him away during the xmas break because the guy had cracked! Let's move on and not look back because we are better than that now.

Luggy was hated by all the players as he was often called 'The fat ****** between them.' I know it was Dodd that pushed it forward even more to get him out as he was acting his captain duties to do so. Now to tell you how hated the man was, they had a pre season cricket friendly at BAT where Luggy had to sit in a small office to eat his dinner as the players hated the way he eats and smells.
