  1. I found it in the Software Centre. I use ps3 Mediaserver, seems to be OK.
  2. I found it in the Software Centre
  3. I think it's disgraceful. They should have ACDC instead of Iron Maiden. Angus Young's school uniform would not look out of place.
  4. He's gone home (by helicopter).
  5. So Saints shirts less than 15 years old are OK?
  6. I love cheesecake. When you get a Southampton branch, I'll buy one.
  7. I am amazed at how some people can clock up so many posts. Some average 15 - 20 posts per day over a number of years. Do they not lead a normal life? Are they stuck in some gloomy room glued to their keyboards? Is it a question of quantity over quality?
  8. Well, as Cameron said "A bunch of loonies, fruitcakes and closet racists".
  9. Agreed, plus you can take her on a tour of the Nou Camp.
  10. Worth a look: http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/
  11. He visited Southampton in 1956 and his painting of the Woolston Floating Bridge is in the Art Gallery.
  12. You can't take Wenger in isolation without looking at Arsenal as a club. Always been run in a financially responsible manner yet he excelled when they were at Highbury where a capacity of 36000 must have considerably limited their income. They have also refused to pay silly wages although Walcott on 100k a week may mean that they've moved a bit on that one. Contrast the way the press treat Redknapp who can do no wrong - semi-literate and alleged brown-bag merchant and Wenger - educated, multi-lingual and (as far as we know) honest. Bit of inverted snobbery, I think.
  13. You could try DropBox which is a file hosting and sharing service. I think it's free up to 300Mb.
  14. Slightly off-topic but the thing that strikes me about the top teams of the 80's is the number of Scottish players that they had. Dalglish, Souness, Hansen, McQueen, Jordan, McClair, WGS, Archibald and loads that I've forgotten. How many now in the top 5 or 6 Premier teams?
  15. I'd put Mick Mills up there among our best left backs. Maybe a bit past his best when he came to us, but a cultured, calm and intelligent player.
  16. And with added veterinary drugs at no extra cost!
  17. I see that our our wonderful Government are trying to get us exemption from EU rules that compel producers of fresh meat products to clearly label exactly what's in their product. They're also trying to amend the rules so that there can be more fat and collagen in mince meat than is allowed in the rest of the EU. One of their first acts in 2010 was to cut the staffing and funding of the Food Standards Agency.
  18. Frankie Bennett scoring against Chelsea.
  19. Goodfellas
  20. It's really an age thing isn't it. I saw my first game at The Dell when Derek Reeves was our centre-forward. Still holds the record for number of League goals in one season (39). I grew up watching Paine, Chivers, Davies etc and I think that the players that you admire when you're growing up remain your heroes in later life. Matt Le Tiss is certainly up there among that lot but it's all very subjective. How do you judge the greatest player? Goals scored? Overall contribution to the team? Paine wasn't a prolific scorer but I remember Ron Davies saying that Paine could not only cross the ball right onto his forehead but he even made sure that the laces were facing away from him. Anyone who ever headed one of the old leather footballs (especially if it had absorbed a few pints of rainwater) will appreciate that.
  21. Not had any problems with mine running 2 wireless connections. Also ran an ethernet cable from the router to my TV and used DNLA software to use my PC as a media server.
  22. I'm also on Virgin in SO16 and have just been doubled to 60Mb. Haven't done a test since I've been on 60 but when I was on 30Mb, it was usually 25+. I find that it slows down a bit at peak times but generally pretty good and very reliable. Customer service can vary greatly depending on who you happen to speak to. Some of them are very knowledgeable but others appear to be just reading from a script.
  23. Hartlepool scored 2 goals yesterday. The scorers were Hartley and Poole (although Poole scored first).
  24. 1st 6 months are boring. They're messy at both ends. From then on it's hard work but worth it. Fascinating watching them develop and learn. Mine was brought up the right way. Saints reserves games at The Dell when he was about 6 or 7 then a Season Ticket in the Junior Saints. He's now 26 and goes to most games home and away.
