What are you talking about. It is not our highest ever league position, we finished 2nd in the top league of English football in a lot of our fans lifetime. The PL is just a fabricated rehash of the old Division 1 that they tried to make sexy for Sky and television. We were in the top league for 27 years. Football is for life not just the PL. Oh and we qualified for Europe quite a few times before the PL as well

The sad thing is that RK is damaged goods by talking to Everton. The article states they will talk to others before deciding. I suspect he would have lost a large section of the fanbase by talking to them, and so his time is up with us whatever I suggest.
