If the contract was in British law and an option to purchase then it is watertight. Options to purchase even if done on a fag packet are something you cant wriggle out of, as long as you follow the exact terms.

Your maths is not good at all, you need to swat up a bit, we all know the answer is 6

It would be galling if we not only lost out on TA but also the compensation. CFO leaving the club MAY have had something to do with it.
-
Ooops that sounds as if somebody has dropped a bollock, if the Toby thing fizzles out and he goes to Spurs without much trouble then we know where it went wrong
-
As much as anything it is principle. AM had an agreement that was in writing and a contract. if they have indeed broken it, why should our club shrug its shoulders and walk away. Spurs are at present one of our nearest rivals, to allow them to steal a march on us by potentially weakening us and them getting stronger is no good to us.

I forgot about the golf, I tried a search for meeting McIlroy and there hasn't been a mention on here for about 3 weeks

but DubaiPhil is over there................ohh:lol:

They have a classic thread on there of Old Southampton. A fascinating delve into the past
-
Mero now You own ' Pompey fan online' This site charges £5 membership, you should do the same. What would you do with £5? Dubai Phil has put a teaser saying about the 20th july, have you any idea what that may elude to?

to us they are traitors but they are wrapped up thinking Muslim first. No different to the Jews who put the religion before Nation.

No trolls there ,not at all

Oh come on ,they are not the average working British taxpayer. They go knowing the risks involved and afterall they are hoping to die so that they can have their 80 virgins....and the 80 mother in laws of course. We need to spend the extra money not on the disabled but by educating and improving the lives of those people in their communities in the UK. I was talking to somebody yesterday who works with abused and fostered kids in Ireland. He said as long as you can get to them before they are 12, you can help them after that it is containment. He warned that the extremists have now had 10 plus years of brainwashing very young kids and they would now be coming to the age where they can unleash their hatred.

I notice that on the other side they are under the impression it is a bed of laughter. Dont get me wrong I would be happier if they were still on here, but it does seem a site of back slapping and self congratulation. Perhaps Im missing it, but Im not lolling when i read the threads. Bearsy of course is still the main source of humour and we should pay a decent transfer fee to get him back.

bloody expensive black box
-
Lallana wanted him to join so there will be less of a focus on him when they play at SMS lol. I hope the new full back will be as good if not better. i assume this is our future each summer, losing a few stars. Any parents should not get names on the kids shirts as they will become redundant pretty quickly !!!

its Pompey on a national scale, spend and live the life and then not want to pay. The Greeks are just playing the politics of who blinks first. Let them off this and then when the next time occurs??? Bus drivers retiring at 55 on big pensions FFS

Sounds like the Crewe player has a better shot than he has. Flop in bed flop at Liverpool. I doubt Vman is AL as the sentences are joined up. AL has no doubt improved his wages and can always he say he played for one of the most famous teams in the world. In 20years time some Liverpool fans will recall him, whereas had he stayed here he would be shown respect and true warmth for the rest of his life.

it is isnt just about Carnival. The council had first dibs for the Americas Cup and lost that opportunity.
-
If the city lose more commerce due to neglect then services will be cut more as business leaves. The more successful the docks are more businesses grow or pop up,thus creating jobs and wealth. You only have to look to Wales and some areas of the North to see what happens if there is no commerce. Is it the top man of Carnival who is a massive Pompey fan? I know one of the top men at the Cruise liners is

Targett & Ward-Prowse named in England U21 Euro squad
OldNick replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Southgate is another yes man and the FA love those. How Chalobah played every game is a mystery. Whilst JWP is not a world beater surely he is better than the Championship players who played. Ings looked awful, it will be funny if he fails for Brendan -
thats a disease in Africa isnt it?
-
I was talking to somebody the other night and the councils inability or negative stance to events is frustrating lots of people. The Americas cup was offered first to Southampton but the council werent interested, Ben Ainsleys involvement has meant millions put into the portsmouth economy. Southampton have a council who only are interested in how many traffic lights they can put up.Time after time they miss the opportunity to make Southampton great again. When i was a kid,Southampton was an affluent city and Pompey the dump, 30 years of forward thinking and the roles are reversed

IMHO the corruption went so far into football associations throughout the world and at home, the powers to be could not let the truth come out.........sounds as if Im the new Pap with the conspiracy theories lol

Very well put. No doubt as they import most of the faces on here they will come up with the same trolling as time goes by. I look at Sotonians after i have read on here and there are not too many posters viewing, yesterday when i looked over there only 4 were online
