Why do they keep going on about it then? They have missed a bullet. Fortunately most of the Scots were not fooled by The yes vote

The team Poch put out should have been good enough to beat an under strength Sunderland side. It may look that he didn't care but if we had been told before the game that Sunderland were playing a weakened side and we had still most of our first team we would have been confident. Both games we were disappointing much like when we also had a good opportunity under Strachan at Bolton but again the team failed to turn up. all the performances were the same, the team either froze , couldn't be bothered or not good enough. The fans made the effort in every one of those ties

I bet a lot of Scots are glad they didn't pull away from England now that the oil price has plummeted. Their finances would have been shot

I think it was pointed out when Koeman came on here, that he was concentrating on ball skills and we wondered if lack of fitness would tell
-
Him and Demba Ba in a deal would be what we need.
-
The main problem for a forward is that you don't know when he is going to cross and so Pelle don't know when to time a run. That makes for our attacks to be nullified. I don't think Mane knows when he is going to cross either!

How can 5000 fans away in midweek to Sheffield be called poor support. It was magnificent support. Just because a lot of fans are grown up and don't need to sing anti Pompey songs etc doesn't mean we did not have impressive support. On the radio it came across very decent. It is sometimes hard to tell how many are singing or how loud it is when you are in the middle of it.

this is what our Foreign Office should be reading, and every politician as well. People like yourself and Dubai (about Arab mind) give great insights. Thanks for that

I didnt go but was amazed that the Sheffield fans hadnt turned up. i thought it would have been a sell-out....of course the only sell out was by our players
-
Nice one Turkish. I wish Mane and Mayuka could side step like you do. Happy Christmas to you
-
I looked at it 5 games ago, we must be at least top 3 now, especially as Les is on the rudder.
-
Considering you have mentioned him countless times since the summer being our saviour and the messiah, trust in Sir Les etc I thought I would give you a chance to carry on bigging him up.
-
fair comment but if you get far more than your player is worth it is then bad economics to spend 12m on a forward who never has had a record for scoring goals. We had sold our goalscoring players and so it is common sense to buy a proven scorer who has some PL experience. I love Longs endeavor but his lack of goal scoring is a major problem. I am surprised though that last night he was not able to cause a L1 defence problems
-
well Les would wave his magic wand and do so , so why not a goal keeping coach? Forster should dominate a penalty area with his height and reach. it seems to me that he has lost his confidence completely
-
they are not Koemans signings, i thought they were In Les we trust signings.
-
you would be an embarrassment to the silly and disowned by the village idiots

I'm sure you are right about all the tactical stuff, but I have great sympathy for RK. he took on a club that sold a lot of quality and replaced them with untested players for the rigours of the PL. Fans like myself were concerned that the team would gel (Koeman by luck/miracle/great management made us start as champions) and also that the squad was too thin. Many of the Boards fans on here were calling fans who had genuine concerns for the longterm were called bedwetters etc. It is seems to me the chicken has come back to roost and perhaps some of the fans who were pretty scornful of me and others are now seeing that some of our concerns were sound. We need at least 5 decent players to supplement the current squad, and that is if we dont sell anyone. Koeman is the brightest part of the Summer to my mind and i think we will regret it if he gets abuse form the fanbase, he has been dealt a weak hand and must make the best of a poor lot. The much heralded talent spotters with King Les at the top is looking a little poor at present.
-
bit of a bedwetter aren't you? ......................lol just thought you see that being honest in your views and a bit negative doesnt mean that you are a drama queen or a bedwetter
-
sadly you might see one saturday playing for Everton
-
unfortunately, this situation will always be the same. there is no way the club is going to invest in a squad of 20 decent players and rotate them. Koeman, Morgan, Victor and Nathanial, and our loan players will have more ambition than the Board. So I can only see us keep rotating our squad and manager season on season. Koeman did wonders with a decimated squad at the start of the season, how he re ignites it now is impossible due to lack of options. We cant throw a lot of 17-20 youth playrs in to the fire.

I agree, he may be a great player but Koeman sees him every day and he is not a fool.If he thought he was worth a place he would play him,
-
lets not think relegation quite yet Dalek. I know things are poor and I expect us to fall away some more yet, but we should get enough to stay up
-
Trust in Les, he will save us. We have been guaranteed he is the messiah

You can't play loads of games with such a thin squad. KRueger supposedly stated that we are budgeting as a 10th placed club and it won't be long to achieve that.
