  1. MP is not a bad manager, but he misjudged his powers. I will hold my hand up and say I thought he would be a success at Spurs. It seems the personality and desire of our squad were of the correct type to follow MP's regime. Spurs team of big time Charlie's, who are overpaid and not hungry will not suit his style. I fully expected Lamela and the othe high price forward would fire under MP. I suspect Levy and MP expected the same. iam delighted that I was wrong, and hope we can laud it over Spurs for many years to come
  2. I'm in Orlando at present and Murphys bar in International drive had the game on. Sadly it had Man U on as well, they have about 8 screens showing the games
  3. The father is from Liverpool but told some fans that they were Liverpool fans when AL was looking to join them. To now tell the world that they are Everton fans can't help the cause.
  4. Chelsea have a 8 point lead at the top of the PL then
  5. i think there are 4 Chelsea defenders in front of the Liverpool ones lol
  6. You don't recall seeing him elbow a saints player on the half way line when he played for Sheff Wed then?
  7. funny that, when I told people on here he was an Everton fan I was shouted down by some who said they knew him and said he was a Liverpool fan. He used to tell the staff at SMS he was an Everton fan, but mysteriously became a Red when it suited.
  8. Downing may look good on a few of MOTD but he is another player who nearly was. To put him in the squad now is a sad indictment of our game
  9. it seems to me we have a few fans sitting in the background waiting to pounce and use him as a scapegoat. It was similar to when KD was first choice. Not that I'm pointing at you on that one Vectis
  10. It would interesting to listen to his first major I terrier on Solent when he first arrived. He was open how ML and himself we're going to change things so that we were not so dependant on a manager leaving and the club could go into transition smoothly.
  11. I agree, and probably more of a team man as well
  12. I know we are talking modern football, but Liverpools great sides played every game whatever the competition.Squad rotation came in IIRC when the CL started. Players n the main need to keep playing to keep their form. Perhaps we are being novel by keeping most of our best players as starters. I would have been an advocate of giving some a rest in the cup games, but perhaps they need to keep playing
  13. I don't care how assured he looks to the so called experts on here , only 5 goals conceded in 10 games does it for me. Carry on playing that badly Frazer and that will do it for me. Being a keeper at Saints is a poisoned chalice

Sky said 9 points clear of Man c. I think none of us believe that we are title contenders but hopefully all the top teams disregard us
  15. the bronze workers will be readying to make the statue
  16. it is brilliant how a new mix of players have built such a strong bond. Something I thought couldn't happen. I don't think this has happened anywhere before in the English leagues. To lose so many and get so many in and them to gel immediately
  17. yep after the horrible injury at Sunderland his performances did falter but he still was decent and Iwas sad he left. Now I don't care especially after his behaviour
  18. Lovren was superb for us, although he did lose a bit after his bad injury. His head went to Liverpool but his ability stayed at St Mary's
  19. I managed to flick on the match thread and saw lots of posts saying we looked tired. I fully expected to see us lose due to the fatigue factor mentioned but pleased to see that our team who played midweek beat the fresher home side. Well done Saints
  20. 'It’s not just supporters, it is everyone' is that a dig at the chairman who is supposedly at loggerheads with him?
  21. You don't want to be a keeper at Saints, the fans are so expert and expect everything saved. KD is a testament to that, Your best chance is to look a little unhinged and you are then forgiven for everything lol
  22. I assume it is very difficult to get a prosecution if there is no body. It would be hard charge anybody, abductor or another. It is fair to assume also that the dogs who can sense blood have not been reading the Redtops and so been swayed by them. The posters on here who have doubts are rightfully putting their views across, you may think they are weird barmy etc but there is doubt still. I myself truly hope Maddie is alive and very happy, that would be the best outcome. The guilt that the McCanns must face every day must be awful, however negligent they were they dont deserve such punishment. it is a credit that their marriage has survived under such pressure
  23. Why did Crouch lose his head.that was a straight red the 2 nd one
