for me the frustration is the club knew this was going to happen and were not ready. Most fans on here knew we were short in areas for most of last season. To then lose the quality and still not be ready to have replacements is mad. The club got superb money for most of the players if not all, but that will be meaningless if we do not stay in the top flight. Whilst relegation may not be on the horizon yet I bet the odds of us doing so have changed. Speaking to clients today, they all have a perception of the club in crisis , everyone leaving and having no players. If these people in Blackburn, Brighton, Crewe are thinking this I suspect players from around the UK and perhaps Europe may think we are doomed and so making harder for us to bring players in

Look Im very unhappy what is going on, but futile marches and banners are loved by the media but does nothing to help the fans or club. Basically we have to put up with it as the club belongs to KL and she is legally able to play with it how she pleases.

Some of those are a leap of faith. Pelle better than Rickie Lambert, and Tadjic better than AL. I do hop you are correct in that. RL is still a super forward, ok no pace but a superb footballing brain and makes goals as well as scores them. He is a major loss to us. AL less so IMO but he still was a very good player for us although cannot shoot

If Chambers is sold It seems that KL wants to get her investment back. Whether she will sell the carcass only time will tell. Everybody mentions the transfer money in but what hasn't been pointed out is the money from the TV we also have coming in. In May we had the most valuable game in the world the Championship playoff where the winner gets part of the massive PL pot, we are already in that Club. I posted sometime ago it was a cloaked asset strip, I was wrong in my wording it is a cloaked return of investment. Take in 100+m and spend 30ish The RUMOUR/ talk I heard of KL wanting 200m for the club but somebody wanting to give 100, and so KL creams the other 100 from player sales may have a little substance. That is a fair response, and most understand that Al LS RL and now Lovren left for bigger wages and potential medals, but what is fair to expect in return the club to be prepared and ready to replace the outgoings. I was under the impression that the club had a transfer committee ( up til the end of last season ) we all knew we needed replacements, then why did we not have a list ready to put under RK nose and say which ones do you want us to go for. Or have the club changed the committee idea to RK makes the choices? Players leave but you must agree or be surprised at the lack of incoming players.
