Duncan, Im not having a pop. I believe if NC had been left to run the club we would have far more stability now. Iam not saying all the players would have stayed but i do think that MP and some of the more important stars would have still been here. Do you think the same? the 'wait until the season starts' excuse does my head in. Liverpool havent waited nor the majority of other clubs, and no other PL side has been decimated of their first team like us. It is bordering on incompetance that players who have been likely to leave for weeks/ months have not been lined up. Bed wetter i may be, but Iam not comatose either. The warning bells started ringing for me months ago, and when Reed (?) mentioned McQueen Gallagher etc it became plain that the policy is to throw them in. We have lost the major part of our goalscoring threat. Yes we have purchased 2 untried players in, one is 29! and never played PL. it is a nonsense and I do hope your trust in the board is well founded, from here and a lot of football fans away from our club are as bemused as Iam.

I think he was implying that before the departures the squad was thin and so need plenty to come in. Reading positive posts is great, but until I have seen these top signings play in the PL I will stay doubtful. Very few foreign players have come straight into the English game and been great. Team spirit is not to a bottle of scotch you pass around CB. It is a bond and very hard to nurtur. I have played in quite a few different teams in sport and sometimes there is a chemistry and others there is not, being paid is not what creates that. We are where we are and as fans have got to get on with it. My opinion of KL motives is still the same get 100+million in and spent 30 or so. Add the TV money and Thankyou very much

it doesnt sit well with me seeing our English team being sold and swopped for a load of foreign players I have never heard of. Of course if they do well I will be delighted, but it gave me a bit of pride that we were different having an English core
