i dont want them to go down but I think they are in grave danger. I would much rather Wigan Blackburn went down
-
Aw, you gotta feel for those Aussies - England win Twenty20

its like reading a report by Stuart Hall -
Hopefully we can wave to them as we pass. Villa were said to be trying to buy Charlie Adam according to SSN and so Blackpool could be destabilised.

why do saints fans have to go on other fans sites to big themselves up. No wonder so many fans dislike us for our arrogance.
-
Please dont take this wrong Hammy, but if the club have 2 rows of wheelchairs behind the goal, is that not a safety issue, as some of those fans may not be able to defend themselves from some of the shots that are made? Surely the extra spaces should be made at the sides? The pre match kick in has balls flying into the stands

He is at the peak of his powers at Bournemouth at this moment. Unless they get some players in, can they sustain their challenge?? I wanted Howe here and so am a fan of his achievements but I believe he has lost his nerve when a better opportunity comes along. I can't see that the Charlton or Palace job is not a massive job in comparison. He will only get offers if he carries on the exceptional work he has done so far, if they fade????
-
Howe has now snubbed quite publicly Saints (apparently) Charlton and palace. If you were the chairman of any other club would you give him the opportunity to do so to your club. He has made Palace and Charlton look numpties and has strung them along a few days. Choosing Bournemouth to Charlton Palace and allegedly Saints, im sure their fans feel great about it. I still feel he has burnt his boats unless he has another job lined up
-
he has burnt his boats, i doubt many other clubs will risk him snubbing them.
-
really?
-
he is brilliant at spotting good players. I believe he will do a good job. Bournemouth will not recover IMO
-
I voted for it to happen. Unfortunately many do not/cannot see that the Northam can be drowned out by the away section. The fans in the itchen cant hear the Northam when the away fans are singing against the Northam. If we had a chance again to have a kop end then we should embrace it sadly i cant see the majority agreeing.

It is hell of a risk dropping KD and putting Bart in. If you do, you knock KD's confidence and then if Bart messes up you bring back a keeper who has been kicked. Derry has never had a good thing to say about KD and is under the impression that every other keeper in the league is better. Crucial 6 pointer , penalty save that saved us a point and stopped out major rivals getting 3 more points....at the end of the season that point saved could be very important. Read the match reports over the last few seasons and see the amount of 'fantastic save Davis' against the amount of times 'Davis howler' has been posted. If Bart plays then i will support him, but I still have flashbacks to the Exeter game in the league cup a couple of seasons ago and experiencing the worst and most comical goalkeeping display by a Saints keeper.....and Ive seen a few over 40 years of watching

the club need the money and he must have ambition to prove himself at a bigger club. They still have an embargo FFS. He can only do so much, and so far he has done an incredible job. His win ratio must be good as well
-
on the highights he made a very good save and then flapped at one and they could easily have scored. Its all very well going and taking crosses but you have to get everyone not 80% if you go for them.
-
he should have respected us first by putting his best team out.
-
kicked to the Northam second half, yet again a win

[quote=rallyboy;930364 Was that 1-0 win over a midtable and bankrupt championship club still worth the £100M it must have cost? Was the illegal acquisition of players for the 4-1 win at St Marys worth sending the club back towards liquidation? 'we beat the scummers!' - yes, and it might yet cost you the whole club. Brighton and Southampton are flourishing, it might be time to admit that the cup wasn't worth it. There are certainly some big gamblers down that way - and like 99% of gamblers, they fail. Having seen Saints on the brink of closure I wouldn't gamble the whole club for anything.the 250000 on southsea common dont give a f### about now, they had their day out and would say it was worth it, the fans like Mero and Mack who have been there all along are the ones who might be more subjective. It is difficult, the club i would like seen to be ground into the dirt, fans like those 2 just are football fans who love their club and were just unfortunate to be born in Pompey. They dont deserve the c### .
-
yeah and when they do Cotterill will come on and complain that they were short on numbers and so will the FA make sure their next opponents only start with 8 players, they want an even playing field afterall
-
He is a loan isn't he, so surely stoke is his parent club???
-
can you catch it twice, thats the risk you have to take
-
of course it could be a clever business move. All of a sudden a player who could walk for nothing in the summer will have to be prized away for big bucks if anyone wants him. The club win both ways, we get a good player who can settle and if we get a fantastic offer there is a good payday.
