  1. should the HMRC be nudged and reminded that the date is tomorrow not friday just in case. it would be ironic if the HMRC missed the date.
  2. I think it is Hingston not Hingson, bloody Yanks can't even get names right
  3. he's not worth it and ovrrated IMo, he misses too many one on ones. Im glad we're keeping Rod Wallace and MLT
  4. well i didnt call the ref a #### in the Forum game and was still sent off, Lol. Webb would have appreciated my in depth knowledge I was imparting to the ref on the night
  5. I'm glad the last Labour governments women didnt do the same
  6. If the HMRC dont appeal I would be surprised (although the way the Skates have been able to take the p###, why the surprise) This is not a case of a small business not paying 1500 but 30m. If they don't appeal then they have not only got away with it but in a bigger way than i had thought
  7. a bit of a waste, surely they would prefer to meet straight blokes not sailor boys
  8. Perhaps we should have some Dutch coaches, who know how the continental system works at clubs like Ajax.............Lol. I do hope Les Reed etc do know how to bring through players who are gifted at passing the ball, and comfortable with the ball at their feet. Bally used to revel in the 6 aside game with one touch. That is how kids should learn the game and not be so tied up with leagues until they are 14 or so. Learning to win a game would soon be learnt as they got older.
  9. Reading the replies to the news article , shows that there is a large percentage of Pompey fans who are decent and understand the wrongdoing that has gone on. Fair play to those, unfortunately we get a large share of the mugs who have no shame, posting on here
  10. I wonder if she was gagging for the Dutch to lose
  11. It is fair about the L1 thing but forward planning is essential and perhaps the 5 year plan thing also comes into play.If we ever do make the PL again, I dont see us buying players in the 20m bracket or even 10m and so we need a supply from other areas
  12. We managed to get some fine young players in the past against clubs like Chelsea Manu etc. If their parents believe they have more chance of progressing by joining us then they will be happy for them to sign up. I also think that a large swathe of our support bought in to the Dutch experiment and saw the sense in it. It is a way forward, but circumstance last time torpedoed it.
  13. Im not necessarily blaming Webb but pointing out that IMo he is not consistant.Big games he seems to follow different rules. The commentator mentioned that in the league dup he should have sent Vidic off for his professional foul but just booked him.I suggest that in normal league games he would have followed the book. I don't get the , 'it will ruin the game' if a player is sent off. No if they had sent 1 of those Dutch players off in the first half, the game would not have been ruined by the Spanish being kicked out of the game. had Van Bommel De Jong or another scored the winner would have Webb done his job properly?
  14. If a player should be sent off why should the ref keep a player on? In most league games there would have been at least 2 sendings off in the first half. Are the rules different for the final. I recall when England played Holland in the Euros and a Holland player ahould have been sent off for a professional foul, he went on to score the winner that knocked us out, is that correct just to keep the game as a spectacle?
  15. no wonder we dont get snippets of info quite as often as we used to.Lol
  16. that's where the confusion was as Shirley infants school is in Wilton road. I dont doubt he was headmaster to you
  17. I would look up football memorabilia dealers, and ask them if they would be interested. It matters not one bit what they ask for them but what you can get offered for it. I suspect they need to double to cover overheads and profits. As for the majority if not all antiques programmes they are a set up. I know a lot of the so called experts (the antiques roadshow is probably the best of a bad bunch) and they have little knowledge
  18. He was my fathers headmaster as well, but I didnt think he went to shirley school (I did) as they lived in Avenue road Portswood
  19. Not in my name should aid be cut. There are various reasons for me. Helping the weak and starving is one. On a completely business and self interest for our nation view, is that a lot of the resources we need are there.China have been trying to sneak in the back door and get the rights to much of the resources by starting to give a lot more to Africa in aid to get the rights to the minerals etc. Personally I believe more should be spent on educating the africans about contraception and the catholic church could help by accepting it as being a practical way to help stop starvation and the spread of aids. I also think that people cant see why we are sending aid to China etc, that is a nonsense.
  20. why are you getting up at 4am ,surely not to personally deliver the forum match DVD's lol
  21. that is not funny, and if you really mean it!!!!!
  22. so it seems to have come to pass, they will get away with it. I believe HMRC will challenge, but boy have they had a great spending spree and experiences on the back of it. British justice eh, Lol
  23. 'Our value add is that these activities can be carried out in complete confidence' i love that one, is that just before he goes to the Echo ??? Lol
