  1. I have to pay for the fuel I use to get to my place of work out of my taxed income. Only then am I able to claim. because the MP's say their home is the start of their journey they make the claim. Yes perhaps if people work from home they may do the same. I worry when people are making excuses.Read JB's list of expenses, look at how much it costs to run each MP and it is mind boggling. If people are part of the gravy train they will defend it i suppose, the same as the bankers were allowed free rien when Brown relaxed the regulations but it is still wrong.
  2. I said he might be right in 1 of those things , lol. I do agree he is a little unhinged.

    Paul Allen

Im sure the staff at the club shop will be pleased that they wont be berated again..It was you wasn't it?Apologies if not.
  4. I think he was, i dont know what the terms of his transfer were but Im sure that he was part of the davies deal, all smoke and mirrors.
  5. As much as i find it amusing to to see this it is also sickening tio realise all those snouts in the trough. It really is tiome to get this all sorted. The MP's should come from the constituancy they represent and then that would cut the 2 home issue. Then a cap on the london home.If they believe in their job they should be prepared to earn it.Why should nurses and doctors ,even schoolteachers have to travel at their own cost when MP's can take a plane or train in business or first at no cost to them.
  6. As I say they are all a bunch of snakes.Livingston is probably the closest to keeping to his beliefs but even then...
  7. Dont forget the Kinnocks, they had the miners lay down their jobs and get arrested to try and bring the government down so he could come to power. As soon as he didn't get to PM off he goes to high paid jobs for him his misses and daughter. Those socialiosts are like the Russian communists get rid of the people and the top and then use more excesses than there were there in the first place.
  8. All can recall is the furore when the wealth tax was being spoken about in the 70's. It was reported at the time as his wife was American they had put ther money in trust/transferred to the US. Im too lazy /not good at trawling through the net for info.If it is not on the first 2 pages of Google pack in. Another poster has shown you his avoidance of tax but of course that's ok.A man who wants to share with the workers...well your and my money anyway.
  9. I dont think having a broken foot is something the club could predict, the fact that he played a game with it shows he has grit and determination.I havent read what the OS has said on it but that is what has happened.
  10. I agree I think they all are a bunch of snakes,
  11. Thankyou, it is as i would have expected but I needed confirmation of that.
  12. To be fair dide we in the run in last season? Bristol City and Sheff U were good but the home game against Burnley was about the worst i can recall in years.
  13. Absolutely no chance of saving this season!!!! Alpine come on, you dont believe that really do you? This time last season we had just lost 5-0 away to Hull and drawn our home game 0-0 to Coventry. We followed that by an away defeat to Cardiff and then a home win to Bristol. That left us with 4 games to play and lost 1 drew 2 and won 1. That form was hardly awe inspiring. In the last 7 games last year we took 9 points,(2 wins 3 draws and 2 defeats) if we improve on that , I believe we will then we will stay up.
  14. Why,surely it isnt binding. He is better placed than most to understand the ramifications of doing so.
  15. Clapham as you have experience as an administrator would you be fearful of us going into it? I believe it would be disasterous but it would be useful to know your feelings. Apologies if you have answered this elsewhere.
  16. Stanley It is hard to evaluate the clubs performance on the back of rumour that we are going inot administration, the club perhaps being relegated.Of course the shares will drop but if we stay up they will recover a bit.If we push for promotion they will rise again. Football shares are hard to compare against other businesses. Now of course people will rightly say that the performance of the club reflects the share price , but they may also see that the club took measures to ward off instant crisis and are in the middle of emergency surgery. The damage has been done since relegation and then not making sure we could ride the storm if we didnt go straight back up.You cannot spin the roulette wheel and then not have bad results if it does not win.
  17. I feel sorry for her in respect it is embarrassing i suspect that she is not able to fulfill his needs. It is their private business but unfortunately it has been brought into the open. She will now forever have the tag pointed at her and I doubt her political career will procede much more.As a tax payer im more concerned that these claims were habitual and are just the tip of the iceberg. I also wonder if the MP had to come from the area and so it would stop MP's being parachuted in to safe seasts, that would end the arguement for constituancy homes, and also have advantage that the person elected understood the local issues.
  18. and when she makes a claim for him to have treatment on his repetitive strain injury i assume that will be allowed.
  19. It was stated on the radio he was on 40k!!!
  20. but they dont need pay increases as they can fiddle as much as they like and have loads of apologists who try and defend them. I have at no time tried to defend MP's of other parties who have steppd over the line, it is about time others did so.
  21. Fuengirola you can spout all your pro Labour stuff as i presume you are not having to live in all the rubbish that the government has put our way.It is their policies thqat have helped you receive 25% less for your £ now by the way. The nation is on its knees and i can see little improving, unless the country make things the world requires we cannot carry on borrowing, sooner or later the world is going to think that we are bankrupt and then the pound will go through the floor. if you rely on a pension or investments from the UK you will not be happy then either.
  22. It depends if you make sure you find ways of not putting what we would call a fair shhare in the pot. I dont know what his politics are but Sir Phillip Green who owns BHS etc is a tax exile , he enjoys the wealth created here to live tax free.It is people like that who i dislike.Labour mp'S who create taxs for everyone after making sure they can avoid it as well. I want the nurses to earn 10k a wqeek the moiners 10k a week as long as i dont in any way have to fund it.It s easy to be a socialist as long as you dont have to fund it.
  23. To be fair if Wotte does lead us to safety would it not be then damned stupid to get rid of him??? His record to do so will be a lot better than NP's or any of the other past managers and so will have earned the right in my opinion. If we go down then we need to take stock but Wotte has impressed me by his uniting of the dressing room his understanding how to work in this league.
  24. It may have been trivial to you EFM
