I dont like having big time Charlies swanning about and worried about their boots getting dirty.I need blood on them, when I played football boots had toe caps and a metatarsal was something that had been found in a fossil. -

Top Man.Thats what i call devotion.I do hope the rest of the team take some of this and use it as a template for the standards expected. That is captain material if im not mistaken. You're in the running for the armband. -

You don't need to call me Sir, Gaffer will be fine (apologies to Mike Osman but Im using that for this game) Going for jogs from now on!!! A bit late as i had you down as my engine, up and down the pitch man. looks like my plans have been dealt a big blow already. -
hammer for sale....only kidding Stanley

We need something to unite behind, a bunch of triuphantists who dont seem to understand the dire position we are in gives me little faith.
-
bloody hell must have been in the same place and not realised!!! We have stayed loyal though!!!..Lol Tell her Nick says hello, she'll know who you mean. It makes me hungry just thinking about it.
-
No Tanya doesnt do the aromatic duck either.Good take away though Derry, we are one of her longest loyal customers she wraps our order up so it is still hot when we get back to Salisbury after a game.

now Im confirmed as the away team manager I expect full respect from the team, none of the 'you old git, you don't know what you are on about' stuff . I will be bringing along my medals to show you to gain your respect......well medal, Shirley School under11's player of the first half award. I expect all my team to be keeping to a.) 9 pm curfew ,b.)no drinking,c.) no womanising, d.)no MasterBatesing, e.)a 5 mile run every night, f.)practising passing dribbling g.)shooting skills (not as in c.) or d.) ), h.)and a strict careful eating regime. If not, I'll be pulling you off at half time, to some that might mean a bonus but being pulled off when my hands are made of sandpaper is not recommended unless you are Pinochio of course.Leave the excesses to Dubai Phils team. Come on you greys/flints -
Poignant to say the least. If ever fans need to wake up it is after reading that.(not due to that) The fans need to turn up so at least we have a club to sell I suppoose is the best way of adding to it.
-
yep and paying for the pleasure.Lol
-
Lol...you might be my centre forward by the way and so call me gaffer in future replies Ta

to be fair the Chester fans on there were very decent. They were saying that it was wrong for them to take another clubs place and get what they deserve. An aquaintence is a Bournemouth fan and he went to Chester and said they are the worst fans he has seen deserting after going 2 nil down.Reading their forum I think that is unfair.

but we dont know how it would have panned out in the long run.If I recall correctly when RL was ousted the first time a few of the better people in the acadamy were off as well. Jennings was head hunted and so was the guy who went to Liverpool but I still feel the concept had we stayed up would have worked well.It was just relegation destroyed the plan. Theo and Bale did save us from admin before now as their fees have propped us up the last 2 seasons.

Rupert Lowe ,Prutton, Hiigingbottom Claus HR Wigley Sturrock Crouchie and all the other weak minded players who didnt have the backbone to stop 2 goal leads slipping away etc etc etc..........and also fans like myself who made a big who ha about Hoddle returning. Now of course there could have been better options than him but in principle I believe I was in a minute way responsible as well.It was definately a defining poit although we could go back a little further to WGS 's decision leaking out that he was not staying. There is a plethora of reasons RL being a large part but not the sole reason IMO
-
I agree with that, but with a better squad than we had this season he nearly failed. i dont doubt he would have done better though
-
I think you havent read all the others above you WSS, but it is good
-
well they only had 1 in L1 and so 1 is the answer.
-
A bit previous I suggest Robbie.I think we should see what we get from the ashes before deciding how clever some were to bring the regime down.
-
I think we have done this all before. It will only end up as another anti Lowe debate which carries on being devisive.I do understand your thoughts though but it is best we leave it now.
