  1. .It is not rocket science to fill your sides with good players. You have to balance that with budgetting.Saga would have been sold had we had the chance, we couldnt and so he is playing as we pay his wages now anyway.
  2. There is a large amount of people who really are not going down to RL, but the major swathe of fans not going is mainly down to the fact that we are losing and not in the PL. None can tell me why when we played Man u with RL being chairman that there were 32000 people who turned up. Please do not tell me they were Man u fans, as when goals were scored the onlly fans celebrating were in the away section and a few in corporate. If we do well thew fans will retunrn to the uneasy aliance with RL. If he left i doubt it would add more than 1000 to the gate and after yesterday the attendance will rise a tad anyway. Im happy standing with the 13000 hardcore fans who all got involved in our vid=ctory at SMS yesterday

Well he is wrong, if my info is correct.Wotte was known as Mr Chocolate before the meeting he had when he first took over when the staff each had their say, things have improved. The players are united and up for it. I am giving a pal a call later today and will be back on here tomorrow and let you know what i have been told.
  4. but they will only need another 8 points to beat our 15
  5. The front marchers having anti Wotte banners just shows how SOME dont rerally know what they are protesting about.Whose idea was it to block the road??? That will gain the fans no sympathy from the general public who were inconvienienced by it. The media gave it no column iches it seems. A small run of decent results will see the marches go back into a box.Another couple of losses and the marches will grow IMO
  6. Jan played 1 up front, I suggest had Saga played just 1 up front in all hte games he played he would not have scored as many as he has recently. Lets just be pleased he's there and that we still have 13 games for him to make us safe.
  7. DMG has spent the season as a 1 up front.Under the new man Saga has been playing as a 2 up front. That is why we are more effective, DMG was very good yesterday and again proved he is better than a lot give him credit for. Did you go and watch the game?
  8. I will put my hand up and admit I was wrong (so far) he has been great but of course he has played up front as part of a pair.A front 2 is important so we can defend from the front.

You must also give some of the credit to Wotte. As I have been saying the mood in the camp has improved and there is a new togetherness. His decision to play British style has made a difference as well.
  10. Did you go today WSS? If so I cant see why you would make such a mad comment.
  11. Euell and Saga playing as 2 up front makes the world of difference.Euell was brave and worked hard Saga scored 2 great goals.Thne opposition defence got no time and were made to panic.DMG worked chard and played some great balls.Lonegan made 2 of the best saves Ive seen in ages. The team as whole showed the passion and desire we need. Wotte made a good team selection and got the tactics right. Was it just me that felt the team actually knew what they were doing and were comfortable with actually having tactics and organisation. THe fans were fantastic and there was no dissent in the ground at all and so hats off to the anti Lowes. You showed wit the march and conduct in the ground that you are more than a thoughtless rabbble. Good to meet Westender and Roger on the day as well, at least I can put a face to the debate now.
  12. When were these things said then Um.If it is current about him and Wotte now it will be of great surprise. My info from the dressing room is very positve, as you know as I have been relaying that for a few games.

well you and the bloke on Radio Hants are definately in the minority.
  14. As I have alluded to during the week Wotte was not as involved in the team as some would wish to think. I had relayed that the team were together and determined.Thankfully it has transmitted onto the pitch. Now they must carry it on
  15. But that paragraph is not correct. It does not take into account the damage done during his break in tenure. Please do not fall for the thought that the Wilde bunch and what followed has nothing to do with our financial problems and so the ones that then go onto the pitch. And yes, before Um says the major financial loss is down to being relegated, that is true but a fifth of teams go through that in the Pl every year, only a few are fireproof from that. You should react as things and conditions are at the time.Wilde bunch and what followed did not do so. I wonder how Askham views the outburst, after all I think I am right in saying it was him who invited KW onto the cosy closed shop that was our directors box in the first place
  16. The vent of our spleen has always been aimed at the wrong person IMO. I think you have in principle got it right Farmer
  17. He was part of the Dutch revolution but only was in the background as jan was in control.Wotte stood back and let him get on with it.Isnt that how it is supposed to work, the manager takes the decision but may listen to other advice. Wotte is now in control and so lives and dies by his decisions made.
  18. How about giving him a little time before condemning him.His first game at home saw a march with his name on placards telling him to go.Very nice of us indeed.I suggest he would have little time for that group of fans and so knows he cant win them over. The rest he perhaps wishes to work with.
  19. The Plymouth game was at SMS. The team was supposed to have been selected by G&D and so as we lost it is put down as their defeat, had we won of course.....
  20. Well is it positive if you dont agree?? im all for the marches if the protest is peaceful and the support like last time is carried on in the ground. I dont know of many if any 16 year olds who have a grasp of what running a large business entails. He no doubt has a bit about him to do what he has done, but what is he expecting or promising if the march should all of a sudden make the CEO leave? What do the marchers really think they are marching for? What alternative have they guarentees of?The LC soundbites sound good, the clubs shares are now at very low levels, his 2m surely could be added to to get to the £4m the club is now worth by the share price.Or is he also using the fans so he can get the power for nothing, similar to how IMO the Wilde bunch went about it. Many promises but no suibstance.MC LM and LC could now buy the club as the value has dropped dramatically, will they tell the matchers that the are going to do so? If they did i may also join as at least they would at last be putting their money where their mouth is.
  21. but Alpine you know it's true. I doubt any of the grown men would march behind a spotty kid other than at our quaint club. He is doing what he feels is right and so good luck to him, but it comes to something when the clubs finest have to rely on a 16year old lad.As i put on a different post, I recall when i was at school all the Wolfie Smiths who were going to change the world, now I see them driving in gas guzzlers and paying their staff the bare minimum.Lol
  22. So RL is not costing the club fans after all, well done Rupert and Wotte getting the fans to vote with their feet
  23. The ones who are most uptight about the comments are upset already.I doubt that many of the fans who are ambliviant to the anti feeling care too much. They would also see the fact that a 16 year old boy running the campaign as a little comical.(not that Im against himand good luck to him) I recall a lot of my schoolfriends being Wolfie Smiths and wanting to change the world. It often makes me chuckle to see some of those same people driving gas guzzlers now and wasting energy without thinking as they drive to work and pay low rates to their employees..
  24. i'm not looking forward to tomorrows game either. The thought of Saints fans turning on the club and each other fails to excite me.As soon as the RL chants start it is time to leave, not in support of him but just as it is not what my weekend relaxation is about. May also say the fans who say that RL is stopping fans going the anti RL atmosphere and potential of aggro is also stopping fans from attending so the anti's are costing the club money in more ways than 1
