I agree that consistancy is what is required. They are professionals and should act in a likewise manner, and the PL/FA should make sure that those that don't get the ultimate sanction. After all, they can call the ref an F-ing C, and get nothing, yet take off your shirt twice and you are off the pitch. It'll clean up the game at grass roots as the kids will continue to emulate their heroes and hopefully it'll be another good thing. When I played rugby i remember arguing with the ref in a county cup game and not stopping and him moving the play back by 10 yards until we were on the verge of conceding a penalty try. My team mates made sure I didn't argue like that again, and it 'leanrt me'.

Yeh, and the bigger teams trade those places in the pick for other things, such as players etc. The problem will always be down to money and status, which playing for a big clubs gives you, (why you just needed to be English and play for a top 4 club to be picked for the England team until recently.) And don't forget the 10%ers, the agents. They only get their payday when the player leaves the club, so they encourage this. Look at Koeman, first agent tells him to stay at Sooshampoton, but second agent gets first one out of the way and pushes for the Everton move. Removing them, or banning bonuses would go greatly to stopping this.

Doesn't anyone think it;s strange that apparently Koeman is joining Everton yet the deal isn't yet done? And he just goes off on holiday again? I mean, he was pretty relaxed when he was going to sign an extention with us. I think it's strange that he's jetted off to Barbados with Bert van Oostveen, rather than signing with Everton. Nothing apart from the two snags mentioned before. I like Eddie Howe, however I don't think we will go for him, but will probably look at Frank De Boar as we prefer not to look to poach other teams managers, but look at free agents.
