The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Secret Site Agent replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
We'll perhaps if he explains why he caused a lot of distress to other Fans at the JPT debacle, then NC would explain why he and the club are being vindictive and downright mean over his season ticket. None of it bodes well, or shows them in a decent light. Reminds me a lot of when my nipper was always being Banned from the local Alldays/Co-op because the security guard didn't like him. He would just waddle out and point at him in the middle of a crowd of twenty and tell just him he was banned, although they we all as bad as each other. he even once reported him tio the local anti-social team for a stream of events that I had to go and sit in front of local police, council types and hear of his crimes on these particular days, only to get up and start to leave and when the type from the council told me about putting him in care etc. I produced evidence that he was on holiday for two of them, and away in a residential school for the remaining three. After complaining I didn't get any apology from the council or Alldays, but the police did winge that i was being unfair when I suggested the local beat copper had not acted under PACE and had been lazy in his indightments. Not that my nipper was an angel by no means, and I had to punish him several times for what he did. But I do has some sympathy for NI. But if you put your head above the parapet, expect it to be shot at. If you put yourself in the public eye, you have to make yourself as squeeky clean as possible, as someone will always look to find a way to put you down, and as we see in the press regularly these days, having dodgy expensis, or sleeping with someone not your wife, or being caught making Sexist comments, and someone will come and find out and put it into the public domain, for trial by press, no matter the truth of the matter. So, in conclusion: My son, when he was a lad, was a little **** who had the biggest mouth in his little gang and would get picked on and banned for life from ALLDAYS, at least once a month. (Now he is much older he delights in driving for 15 minutes to buy things from there and complaining about it's quality, value, and has learnt the Consumer Act so that he can be a pain to a company that no longer exists and against assistants who no longer work there ). Illingsworth was involved in something that caused people grief and disappointment on a day that should only have happy memories. He was 'banned' for reasons only SFC can name from having a season ticket, but he was still able to attend game, so they only made his life a bit more awkward for him. And NI can claim all he want that he doesn't want to speak on behalf of the fans, but appearing under a headline of 'Nick Illingsworth, Voice of the Southampton Supporters wishes to not be known as the Voice of the Southampton Supporters' is a bit of an oxymoron in my opinion. Keep telling the no comment and not talking to them, and they will soon find another rent-a-gob to go too, (and another target for us to knock down. As we are spineless and gutless as a whole when we are in a gang and have anonymity.) I don't know NI, I was introduced to him once, I engaged him in some inane chatter and didn't find him either way, tbf. I am sure that he comes across as a decent bloke to some, and probably is, but as the saying goes, Hitler was loved by his mum, (and by 60 million Germans at one stage) and Mussolini made the trains run on time, (don't jump on me please, I am not comparing NI to either of them, it is just an expression to prove the duality of man, that we all have the capacity for good and bad inside of us, and we are liked by some and disliked by others. Me, I am quite popular and have a large number of people who like me, but I am a sarcastic **** also who sometimes over steps the mark and hurts peoples feelings). And No-One is the winner in this, everybody looses, apart from the IFO, who get the chance to get some much needed publicity, as I don't know about you, but until this thread I though it was an early acronym for Flying Saucers. -
Exeter 1 - 2 Saints - Post Match Reaction
Secret Site Agent replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
This. We should also consider that a number of them played against Manure at the weekend as well, a mere three days before. That must have had an effect on overall fitness. But a win is a win at the end of the day, and with Rickee getting a brace, this is also a good thing. -
+1 Please answer me the following questions: Who would you have fronting your business? a) An ex-Player b) An ex-Banker Who would you want teaching your youngsters how to take a free kick and a penalty? a) An ex-Player b) An ex-Banker I think this speaks volumes.

Ahh,the old, 'We aren't being supported because I read somewhere that someone knows someone who thinks that we might not be wanted as Marcus loved us and my gut tells me that I think if I was marcus and I died, my children wouldn't fulfil my destiny and it must be true because we didn't put in any bids for big names so it must me true. ' OK, and this rock I have keeps tigers away, and it must work because I don't see any tigers. Spurrious thinking at best. Many historical cases of fulfilment of a parents legacy by both children and grandchildren, so why not now? With Katerina (spl)? I personally belive that, as we are looking to build for the future, we were only looking for those that would cut it in the championship also, and not end up with a team able of preducing the goods in L1 and then fail to preform in Championship and we end up looking relegation in the mouth until we can change it. I don't think we need to improve the team significantly, as I believe these are impact subs at best. I do believe that we probably lost out on a couple of decent ones.
-
I agree with the above. Imagine if the reverse was true and we just SIGNED lallana and AOC, it would indeed be a coup. The impact subs/Speed on the wings has been addressed, which is good, (assuming that is what these boys are for.) Signed Guly and Chaplow, (even though here on loan, it's still a signing) and my 'Imagine if we have JUST signed them' still holds true for them. Also got rid of a detractror and some 'burdens' which is also good. If only temporarily. Would have liked another striker but we are in a precarious position regarding new signings, as we would want someone who is happy to sit on the bench, but is good enough for the championship still, and not end up paying shed loads for someone only to sell them at a knock down price in the summer. Filling this criteria is very difficult, I can see. Also new signings could upset our 'gelling' team at the moment, so this is another consideration. But i'm content, bordering on happy.

Transfer deadline day thread!

He, you know what they say. Immitation is the best form of flattery. I'm just following the greats, such as yourself. (Truth to tell, too lazy to read all the posts.):: -
Transfer deadline day thread!
Secret Site Agent replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Can I just ask before he signs and we get into another debate but..... Is it pronounced 'Fort' and in 'Fort Apache' or is it pronounced 'Fortey' as in 'Stupid sarcastic posts to lighten the mood are my Forte'. Or is it pronouced 'Fourty' As in 'Fourty quid says AOC is still here come midnight'. Or perhaps it's 'Footea' and the 'r' is silent? -
The trouble is is that they are all lazy Journalists. We MUST be desperate to sell him because we are so poor and Arsenal MUST be the ones to sign him................ Because............................................... We MUST have been desperate to sell Walcott because we were so poor and he went to Arsenal. Where as in truth Arsehol rings up Nicola and says he Want AOC and this is what we will get. NC tells him he needs to sell someone to afford AOC. Whilst they are talking, NC wants to know how much he wants for Fabrigas. Arshol laughs and says, 'You couldn't afford him.' To which NC points out we could, we don't have to sell AOC to survive, and please '**** off, you pauper.' Great stuff.

I heard a rumour, from Leftback/DBP/SRS that on Saturday, Alex Ferguson was at the game to watch Alex Chambo::

Saints v Man U tactical analysis on Zonal Marking
Secret Site Agent replied to The9's topic in The Saints
I have never seen this site before. Don't know why but I must admit the technical aspect does excite me. And not only that, we can see why and where we have succeeded/failed. Loved to have seen what they made of the Dutch style and 'Total Foosball' we played before. -
I can just hear it now. ' Ritchie Lambert passes to Julie Del Pardo. Julie to Andrew Laladipsyandpo passes back to Richard Chaplin. Kevin Davis saving many shots in goal. Protected by the great back four of Frank Richards, Dean Harlow,Bryan Dickenson and not forgetting HoseB FRONT. The great striking team that is Ritchie Lambert and Lee Butler. Yes Lambert and Butler are smoking today. I see in the middle the great up and coming Frenchman, Martin Schniderland, and the lad all the top 4 teams are going to buy, Alan Oxidised-Chamberpott. Together with Johnson Punchandjudy and, waiting to come on the loan signing from Liverpool, Davy Nguessing.' Their Manager Niel Watkins can be proud. Or words to that effect.

I'm just getting into practice for the one i hope to be building for Nigel Atkins:lol: It is a bit more complicated than it sounds, honestly.

Where I am working there are two business's right next to the bus lane I am constructing. One is a sign shop and one is a wholesale electrical suppliers. Both of them are run by fellers in their 40's who have taken over the business from their fathers. They are being paid handsomly by my client, the local council, for the bit of land we are working on, plus big bucks for loss of trade when we close the road. Both of then are informed by me when the road is closed, what we are doing when, and we have also doen some small works for each of them, (i.e some concrete repairs, white lining of their car parking, built a step etc.) I have a pretty good relationship with both. But their Fathers are a big pain in my backside as they are complaining constantly, asking for extotionate things, and stopping my work on two occasions. Their son's love them, after all they built a wonderful legacy for them to follow on and continue to build on, and I am most courteous to them in every way, but unfortunatly they are no longer involved in the business and have no real say, really, as legally their son's have entered into legally binding agreements. I have a sub-contractor too, who has taken over the company of his Dad, but he, (and his Grandad) still interfere in the works. I think where i'm going is that as much as these people are appreciated and have a special place in the heart, and their contribution is fully realised, aknowledged and really had an impact, it's great to see them, but they are the past, and they shouldn't involve themselves anymore. It's someone elses job now to carry on the good work. And just as I posted the above, In walks the subbies dad, demanding 'Where's Gingerlad' (his son) and wanting to take a gang off to another job. Oh, the irony. Oh, synchronisity, you bastardos.

The thing about those posting 'ITK' info is that it can be sustained by giving out the scantest of information on a variety of subjects. By making more generic, we actually mould facts to fit the ITK info. This is how some astrologers, fortune tellers and phsycics get away with what they do. It's all reliant on the logical order of the world that your brain needs to function. You fit the information to fit the facts, (and dare I say it, some police forces around the world in the 70's and 80's used to use this to solve crimes, especially involving eye witness evidence, whilst the Intelligence agencies teach this so that you AVOID the issue.) Anyway, after the announcment we will get on Friday from SMS, you just wait and see and this will clear everything up.

I estimate that with everyone of those in the Pompey line-up, you should be able to get at least a full set of teeth.

Or maybe he has used some encryption breaking software, downloaded from the internet, to break the security and scrutinise what we are all saying about him. And he will use the information in his insidous plan to revenge on us all with his League of evil from MOUNT DOOM .....Sturomseysaint............Davebensonphillips..........leftfield.......... wait a minute, aren't they all the same bloke? Or maybe he is here in disguise? Logged in as a new user. He is renting a loft somewhere, with a second hand computer, an internet account free for the first thrity days, some binoculars (that he paid 20p for from the Mayflower, but instead of putting them back, he kept), all dressed in camoflage gear, (or Distruptive Pattern Matterial, if you will) and a beret from the Army Surplus store in Town, (opposite the bus depot, they do a nice range in field rations). In the corner, a picture of Nick Illingsworth looking all statesman like. In the other, a picture of St. Mary's with little pins stuck in it, denoting the pincer likes moves to take over the stadium, (In the northem stand, row H. The Romans knew it, the Cathaginians Knew it, The Greeks knew it, and we do now.) From here he can secure his forces, and use this as his power base for the ultimate goal: To take over the Saintweb and force ALL posts to start with the words, 'Stu is so right in what he is saying'.

Hey, I didn't get the 'Secret' in my name because I build stuff on the quiet, you know.
-
I have posted about this before, the full strength of communication and disinformation. It should be remembered that the slightest hint of impropriety is sometimes enough to cause mistrust and confusion. And that is sometimes enough to set the ball rolling. Also it is a good weapon for enhancing yourself, the old 'Mr Scott' manouver. Let me demonstrate. Lets say NC, for the purposes of this demonstration, wishes to back up his claims of building a club for the future. He claims he isn't going to sell AOC. Then someone behind the scenes starts the rumour mill that he is going to Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool. Then he doesn't go. NC is a hero for fighting off the big boys. Even though they had no intention of making a move for a mere 17 year old, at this time. A second way is for the club to start rumours in the press that Arsenal wants him for £10 million. Arse deny all knowledge, but Man U, Man City, Liverpool, think that a shady deal is being made. They are now looking at a bidding war, if they are not careful, and have to better the deal. Nothing happens, talks break down, AOC stays, NC has beaten off the big boys again. The alternative is that AOC is happy to stay, so is all his advisers except one, spreads the rumours in the press that Arsenal wants him for £10 million. Deny all knowledge, Bidding war ensues, AOC's head is turned, offer accepted, lots of money changes hands. Or, as suggested, start the ball rolling so that he leaves and NC gets the **** for it. We have to be careful what we read in the press. There the formula is as follows: Good up-and-coming player/tin pot 1st div club with no money = must sell to club with big money to survive. (Theo) + (Arsenal) = Previous action. Therefore (AOC)/Saints = Arsenal. But Arsenal = Manure And Manure = Liverpool. Therefore (AOC)/Saints also = Manure and Scouse City. In conclusion (AOC)/Saints = Arsenal,Manure and Scouse City x Big headlines. Simple as that. The fact that AOC may not equal Eager young player kean to leave. And tin pot 1st div club with no money does not equal Saints, as Saints = 5th Richest club in the UK, doen't factor into
