Puncheon played in the same Paul Elliott Academy as Drew Surman when Saints let him as Paul arranged games against other London teams. Even then he had an attitude. Would be interested to know why Plymouth let him go. Believe their may have been an off the field incident there.
-
Disappointing but not suprising. We are a team with flair, not cloggers. Was out with for a drink with Drew Surmans dad last night, both still massive Saints fans. Mot teams in the Championship play football and he feels Saints are capable of doing just what Norwich have. I am confident we will be promoted and rather that slit my wrists I look at the table and we are still in the mix. Lambert, Norwich manager tells his team that if you want promotion you must NOT lose two league games in a row.

Historical record against Tranmere at their place Won 1 Drew 1 Lost 4. Time to improve that record

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Cotterill-shrugs-off-exit-talk.6693104.jp I have very little smypathy with him. He knew he was taking on a financially broken down bus and suprise suprise, the man who put them into Administration and emerged with the ownership is reluctant to invest more in spare parts. Remember the bus on The Young Ones final episode. Thats you Pompey, that is

I know, he knows, the club knows The injury happened 10 minutes into the Oldham game when he clashed with their goalkeeper. He was taken off much later with a slight groin injury. Now thought the groin injury was as a result of compensating for the knee injury in play Help?
-
Unwanted distraction? Well for some supporters like me who want to see league success yes. For the players, no. It gives them a chance to perform on a big stage. They will love it and as others have said, 6-0 away to Oldham days after beating Blackpool suggest we can cope. May be just as well the Charlton game was switched again.
-
I agree. He had a decent game against Blackpool and tried hard yesterday but for whatever reason he fails to make a difference. Flatters to deceive. Yesterday was a great chance to come out from the shadow of Lallana (assuming that was one of his confidence problems) but he failed for me. Not being critical of his miss. Guly and Lallana miss similar chances almost every week. It is his positive contribution that is missing although he did put one pass through to Guly which may show why Millwall rate him I think we need to keep him as a squad player but would not mind if he goes providing we can get a better player in
-
Norm, if you give them the 4 membership numbers you will get 4 tickets. Friend of mine bought 4 using all our season ticket numbers over the phone and gave me mine yesterday.

Easy win

No not that either. Final word as I no no more than that at present and I am going to enjoy a good bottle of Merlot now.
-
One thing I can clear up. It is NOT his Cruciate Ligament
-
The club will not know much more until Wednesday at the earliest. That is why I am saying it is pure speculation and so do his family.
-
This is not correct. It is all speculation at this stage.
-
Good move for him and well deserved. Charlton are not guaranteed promotion and Crystal Palace likely to come down. Burnley is the best choice and gives him time to develop in a higher league and if he does the Premier Clubs will come knocking. I am sure Burnley will expect him to take them back to the Premier

Bloody nuisance. I could have made 25th Jan but cannot make 5th April.
