As others have said, cannot see them selling him at this stage - however, if they do decide another loan is what's needed for his development, I suspect we will be top of the list. Wouldn't surprise me if we announced an extension of the loan before the end of the season. If we are lucky enough to have him another year, I hope we also look to sign another striker anyway. With goal machine Shane out of contract, would be good to find another Broja type that we can bring in for succession planning.

All this “let’s keep him as back up and on lower wages” - it’s not that simple though is it? Maybe Fraser doesn’t want to be back up? Maybe he wants to move on somewhere new and he’s knows the only chance he has of getting near his current wage is on a free transfer? Also, didn’t the club offer him a new contract in the summer but he turned it down? This summer is our opportunity to improve the weakest area of our team. I hope the club have some targets lined up.

He does appear to have a bit of a laid back style. Which is fine, but when you are so completely out of position defensively most of the time it isn’t a great look. Some positive signs from an attacking perspective and as I said in the post match thread, having Stephens alongside you on your debut can’t be great.

Up until the back pass, thought Valery had a good game tbf. Mixed it well with the unit they had up top, looked better than Stephens anyway who seemed to think he was a level above Coventry and could coast through the game. Small had a few good bits going forward, but looked terrible defensively. Again, having Stephens alongside you can’t help. Someone put Theo out of his misery. Please. Complete and utter waste of space. Armstrong (A) just has no redeeming features. Offers nothing. With Che when he first came in, you could see a player in there that needed refinement. AA just has nothing about him at this level. Only real positive for me (other than scraping through) was seeing Stu getting somewhere back to his best. Looked so much sharper and of course a wonderful goal.
