Selling quality players and gambling on replacements who either have potential or didn't quite hit the mark at previous teams. Spunking 19 million in a striker who frankly looks toilet! Having no ambition when we had Pelle and Mane we should of grew a set of balls tied them both down and actually signed ambitious players that would of made them want to continue on. That was the best opportunity to go for the top 6 / 4 consistently and we royally ducked it up..... We could of got Promes , Ziyech or Dost and actually showed some ambition....

Saints are a "small club" you can't really blame players for wanting to jump ship and play for clubs that might actually achieve something.... Saints have no ambition. Stupid decision and selling the best assets and not replacing them has come back and royally bitten us in the arse. We will do a Sunderland next season. What about our new owner? I cannot fathom how you would sell the best center back in the team pocket a huge figure and then not attempt to replace the glaring weakness in the team..... dress it up all you want the pure arrogance and moronic decisions have cost us dearly.... Now surely before we even attempted to shifted Virgl we would of already have had a replacement ready to sign on the dotted line? but hey ho that would require us to use a bit of intelligence something the board haven't got... Stephens as a player? again paper over the cracks all you want the end result is this at Premiership level he isn't good enough......
