Looking at the bigger picture we are 8th in the league, We reached a cup final. Considering the Fonts situation / lack of striker injuries to Van D and Austin I think Puel has done Ok. Look at the development of youth we have pushed on with McQueen, Sims, Stephens. Yes some players have gone backwards / become stale this is football it happens ( failure to adapt to new playing styles / methodology. What are Saints fans expecting top 6? Who realistically could we get in to take us further? Marco Silva? Don't be deluded...... We lack the ability to finish we need to be clinical maybe better finishing training or better firepower? This could be resolved straight away with Gabba and Austin. It's not like we are not creating chances.... Go check the statistics. Give Puel another year and back him in the window to iron out weaknesses / get rid of deadwood if we finish 8th next season and have a decent cup run so be it. We march on!

This season at times has been boring to watch. I find our manager lacking in charisma, passion. Tactically some of the decisions have been bizarre. Quite a few of our players have gone backwards / haven't kicked on. ( Shane Long) Is it down to the system? This summer we will have to rebuild again. Potentially we could lose Virgil, Tadic, Soares, Bertrand. Of course we lack ambition.... As a club we need to put the foot down! And tell the Liverpools to f@@k off. We shouldn't be held to ransom by player demands. If a player throws toys out the pram get them training with the reserves and block any move! We should be recognising that Virgil is the future of this club..We should do whatever it takes to tie him down! And build a squad around him! Some of the decisions by Les and Co have been stupid. Not getting in a replacement for Fonte... When we finally do we are not playing him. To much deadwood average players also like Clasie.

Good get rid........ boring football, passionless, has the charisma of a wet towel. Players are not playing for him it's time to get somebody else. Decision should be made promptly! so the new manager can quickly bed in and have a preseason to sort out this shambles....

I don't rate Puel. I think the man tactically is weak. He has the charisma of a wet fart. This man couldn't inspire a Eskimo to get out of bed on a heatwave let alone get a football team to kick on. It's not rocket science most the players look disinterested / annoyed forced to play dull football. For me I would sack Puel and either get Ranieri or Howe Who would you get and why?

He was class last season... What happened? New coaches? Injuries he doesn't seem that mobile anymore..

Because people live in the past. Become bitter that players leave. Myself life goes on we sell players stick to the gameplan and recruit wisely sometimes we get it wrong I.e Osvaldo, Ramirez, however sometimes we uncover gems. I don't like players thinking they are bigger than the club. It doesn't make any sense to hang onto disruptive olayers either. Get the best money we can get and rebuild sensibly. Even big clubs get poached for their assets. This is football it happens we March on!

If he goes let it be... I'm not fussed 50 million+ sign up We could strengthen across the whole team it's not the end of the world. Stay at Saints and aim for mid table or triple your money and play Champs league. No brainer if I was Virgil I'd be out the door already.... You gotta look at the bigger picture we won't break the top 6 next season so why would he stay? He has bigger ambitions than Saints.....

The positives for me: Josh Sims, Mcqueen, Stephens kicking on the future is bright for youth talent. Signing Gaba and the impact he has made Redmond showing what he is capable of. Romeu, Van D, Yosh, Soares, Bertrand have had good season. Sam G hitting the goals in for Blacburn. Negatives Clasie, Long, Rodriguez to inconsistent should be moved on. Rubbish home kit I hate the bra design I feel we should of progressed further in Europe Injury to Charlie Austin I think he is decent. Initial adjustment to Puel the initial sidewards passing style was boring to watch. Puels interviews are like watching paint dry Selling Fonte and not getting in a replacement quicker. Fraser F I feel has gone backwards.

If he wants out then fair does who wouldn't? Champ league football more money. Let's just ensure we get the best deal we can and actually strengthen across the squad. Ship out the dead wood and sign some proper talent.
