Very much this. Its one thing having a lot of money to buy a football club, but its another thing knowing how to use that money properly. When you look at what the Liebherr Dynasty has achieved at Saints, in terms of spending but doing so wisely, to get us where we our now is an incredible example of how to run a football club.

Whilst I won't slag the bloke off as i'm happy to have an England international between the sticks again, he is making decisions that are starting to cause caution. Twice against Chelsea he made two routine saves but whilst a good keeper will palm the ball away from danger he pushed it straight back into the box, and luckily we were on hand to clear. He did the same again last night in the second half when he made a good save down to his right but sent the ball spinning back across the face of goal which again came to nothing luckily. He has to take a share of responsibility for their goal too i'm afraid, should never have been beaten at the near post like that, its the kind of error we saw all too often with Kelvin.

At home to Cardiff, absolutely smashed a free kick from at least 30-35 yards. Bridgey's first goal was a pretty decent strike 1:20 onwards

My memory of that United game was that I was sat in the garden at my parents in Bitterne Park and heard a huge cheer in the wind, assumed we had just gone 1-0 up given how loud and how far it travelled from The Dell only to put teletext on and see that it was United who had just gone 1-0 up. At the same match the following season which we lost 3-1, Pahars scored one of the finest goals I saw from him, running from just inside our half, skinning a couple of defenders and shooting across Van Der Gouw's goal to score. It never seems to show up in any highlight reels though, or the full version at least.

Whilst I have no sympathy for Morgan himself given his hissy fit 12 months before he left and the fact that he is a multi millionaire, what an absolute shame it is that a player so clearly talented and great for us has become a benchwarming squad player, destined to float from club to club without really fulfilling their true potential and leaving fans with the opinion that you're ****. Lot of people with short term memories on here, Morgan would get into our team any day of the week.
