Mark Hughes's phantom goal for the Saints Aug 1999
bpsaint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Remember listening to it on the radio and they were convinced it had gone in and straight out, although there's never been footage of the incident released to my knowledge which make me wonder if it even happened! -
Likewise, had left early for some reason and can still remember hearing the roar just as I walked past the gasometers. i don't quite consider that our lowest point though as we had a few points on the board, that for me was away to Swindon a few weeks previous, an ugly night in so many ways.

BBC's 50 memorable FA Cup goals - 1 October 2014 - Bobby Stokes - 1 May 1976
bpsaint replied to TopGun's topic in The Saints
I really hope I'm around to see that happen again one day, would loved to have been about in 76 to celebrate with the rest of the city. Just curious but I wasn't massively into football around the time of Bobby's death in 95, did Saints do much to mark his passing at all? We're very good these days at paying respects to former players/managers etc, just wondered what it was like back then? -
Cracking goal, reminded me of one Chris Baird scored against Cardiff many moons ago.

Higginbotham, Powell, Safri and Jermaine Wright. Is it something about this fixtures that our ****test players get on the scoresheet?

****ing hell this is tense!!

Paid for a weeks subscription to Sports Nation HD elite to see how good the stream is. Think I'll be getting rid of sky sports at home and paying for a years access instead, cracking picture when linked to my big screen.

Showing up amongst the listings on wiziwig etc so it's likely there'll be a good stream for this. Don't think we'll ever have a better chance of getting a win at the Emirates.

It's awarded to a city that has excelled in trying to get people playing the game, clearly not to laughing stock football clubs. I like that the order of highlights went: Saints Bompey Brighton Reading Crawley Swindon Skates. tinpot.

Love the interview after the Hull game on that video. Like most have said Prem was one step too far, such a rock in the promotion year, very important goals too!! Gave him a lift home after a night out in town once, was off his tits but funny as hell. Crazy Dutch bastard!! Will be missed in the dressing room I'm sure.

Massive result for us that, well and truly deserved though particularly after that second half. Good to see Pelle score with two decent finishes even though one didn't count, that goal at Millwall clearly did his confidence the world of good. Nice to see Koeman patrolling his technical area and rallying the troops today, was a bit lacking against West Brom I thought. good day all round!

Check out the ones listed below. I've heard good things about Quay Fifteen at Shamrock Quay. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurants-g186299-Southampton_Hampshire_England.html

Pelle!!! Christ how has he not scored!

At least they've stopped selling Carling this season. Granted Carlsberg isn't that much better but an improvement none the less.
-
Crap game, crap atmosphere. very similar to the same fixture last season, that game was saved by a piece of magic from Gaston though, no such inspiration today.
-
What would that be in today's money though? pound for pound I don't think any signing has been as good value as Lambert when compared to what he achieved for our club.
-
The attention to detail on the St Mary's interior shot you linked to is incredible, really looking forward to release now, and naturally beating the skates 10-0 in our own ground! I can remember how enjoyable it was playing at The Dell on a pokey old game called Premier League Stars on the PS1.

Same issue I have, when I called they said that my customer number does not exist in the database, which is annoying considering how long I've had it. Need to call customer services tomorrow.

My customer number and purchase history have been completely deleted from their database, great.
