  1. lol, there's the Pelle we know and love!
  2. Bit cheeky really that despite spending the best part of £700 on a season ticket, they charge as much as £10 to do little more than go on a computer and assign your name to a different seat in the stadium. Poor show IMO.
  3. Club over country all day long for me, so a 3-0 Italy win from a Pelle hattrick please. Fed up of the media love in to a very average England side being managed by yes man Hodgson.
  4. I hope Pelle scores a hattrick against us next week, other than that I couldn't give a rats arse about England. Just hope everyone comes back injury free. Bloody hate international break.
  5. Funny as fook!!!!
  6. All three of his pens have been shocking, regardless of the outcome. I would have thought Steve Davis would be a better choice, or Morgan.
  7. ****ing Man City, could have cashed out my Acca pre game for £424 the useless bunch of bastards.
  8. Stoke and Swansea have also won it previously.
  9. Errrr actually... http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31702424 not a fan of the idea personally, robs some of the lesser teams in the league pyramid a chance of going to Wembley and lifting a trophy.
  10. Time for Koeman to start earning his crust now, we've looked poor for weeks now, and he persists in playing Pelle up top by himself still. We'll keep coming back to this but the decision not to bring in a striker in January to ease the burden/provide competition is going to cost us the Champions League dream. Not optimistic about our chances on Tuesday whatsoever.
  11. Has Tadic ever taken a good free kick? Seriously?
  12. Volleyed over from about 8 yards out when it was easier to score than miss! Managed to watch that online in the very early days of dodgy streaming sites, we've never had it so good now! Prutton came here in very high regard, and was the captain of the England U21 side, but never really lived up to the promise except in a couple of games, notably the 2-0 home win against the bin dippers that relegation season. In fairness the red card and 10 match ban was just another item on the list of things that cost us relegation that season, and what a long list it was.
  13. Bit of advice required please chaps. Looking at getting some new windows installed in my home as the current ones are blowing quite badly now, as well as being full of condensation. Everest claim to have some amazing offers on at the moment, but from what i've read online they are just sales tactics and you still pay well over the odds for their products even with discount. Other reviews etc say that its much better to use an independent local firm, as the whole service is better all round. Does anyne have some good/bad experiences they can share to help me make my decision? Thanks
  14. This annoyed me too, espically as we had a home match the same day his passing was announced. I know we have our 'All Saints Day' each year but some i.e. Deano, Ron Davies, deserve a tribute of their own. It was only a mere 10 years since Deano led the first ever Saints team out at SMS until his untimely death, very sad. Thought the tribute Sky did at the Wolves match shortly after very fitting. Right up there with Killer for me as one of the best CB's I've personally seen in the red and white.
  15. Probably be on my own here but I actually think the FA have shown a lot of common sense and understanding here. A reduction in the ban says that Matic is still guilty of violent conduct, but that the FA have sympathy with the way he reacted to a potentially career ending challenge. To have rescinded the red card completely would have set a dangerous precedent, and players would be giving OTT reactions to every dodgy challenge on them, then trying to claim it was justified.
  16. Some form of European qualification is a must IMO, I fear that failure to do so may result in another summer exodus.
  17. Ref was a ****, but we can groan and moan about him all day long the fact is that once again, we were crap in the final third. Going to watch us has felt a chore lately, long balls up to Pelle for him to knock down to nobody, and no one taking the responsibility to shoot when in sight of goal. With respect to Koeman he felt Mane deserved to be dropped to the bench for turning up late, but IMO it was a completely wrong choice to start JWP, who once again offered nothing. We really need to look at a new system now, as opponents are wise to how we play and we just don't look like scoring.
  18. I'd like to think that season ticket prices won't go up next season after this news, but I think we all know what the reality will be.
  19. Think I would rather the physical presence of Yoshida up against a strong West Ham attack if I'm being honest, so I'm not overly worried if MT misses out, espically after the solid game MY had today.
  20. Sports Nation HD was top class today, it's had a couple of dodgy weeks lately. I watch it on big screen via iPad and Apple TV and it really is fantastic value for money.
  21. Very happy with the win, very happy. That being said thought we looked average today, good at the back and in the middle but our forward play just looks woeful at times. Pelle looks a shade of the player he was earlier this season, and Tadic continues to offer nothing. Still not convinced JWP offers much to the team either, his dead balls and crosses rarely offer anything. Baffled why we gave up on buying a striker so easily.
  22. There appeared to be some sort of fight in block 38/39 too from what I could see in the Northam, think a guy took a swing at a steward too. Anyone know what that was about?
  23. Shame, would have been nice to have seen him sacked following an away win from us Saturday. just hope they don't have a touch of new manager syndrome for our match. Who's jobless at the moment? Our Nige perhaps?
  24. Had a feeling we'd get a draw today, never thought we'd lose the game and judging by the first half performance we certainly didn't deserve to. Annoyed at the goal we conceded, Shelvey gave the defence a warning when they backed off and he hit the post, yet they failed to heed it. Nevermind, let's hope for a couple of reinforcements to arrive tomorrow.
  25. That's a good result for us today if you ask me, Awful leads his men to a plucky point at top of the table Wycombe and looks like some sort of genius, gets a stay of execution, and then continues to lead Pompey on a downward spiral!
