  1. Lee Mason proving himself to be as **** as usual. We really do have some awful refs in this league.
  2. Not that I intended drinking the pish we serve at St Mary's anyway, but how can UEFA ban booze in the ground on the premise that alcohol and footbal don't mix, yet have Heinieken & Amstel as the main sponsors for the CL and EL?
  3. I'm sure if it were United or Liverpool we were playing tomorrow this game would have been sold out ages ago.
  4. That's a red card if it happens elsewhere on the pitch. Bravo has looked absolutely shocking, perhaps shouldn't have thrown him straight into a derby.
  5. Considering Spurs just paid that much for a championship player that has had a couple of crap seasons, I'm ****ed off we didn't play hard ball over Mane and wait a bit longer to sell.
  6. Aside from the obvious Barca away at the Camp Nou, I'd love to watch Saints away to Borussia Dortmund, or the whichever club use the Azteca in Mexico.
  7. Good to see Austin start, Shane it's not alongside Long but heyho. Be nice to see J-Rod get a run out.
  8. Happy to see another one tied down to a long term contract. Still a bit dubious as to his defending qualities, feel he may perform better as a wing back as opposed to full back, a bit like Danny Fox, good going forward but no so much backwards. Hopefully he'll step up this season and fulfill the promise he's shown.
  9. If he were that badly crocked still then I don't know why another prem team would be interested in the first place. Just makes no sense to loan him out to a league rival, particularly with all of our EFL Cup, Trophy and Europa games to come and with an already lacking squad.
  10. Local-ish away game please
  11. How Clattenburg didn't give a penalty to Leicester at the end of that game I'll never know. I hope refs get retrospective punishment when they fail to make if decisions.
  12. Loaning out a player from a squad already lacking in numbers to one of our Premier League rivals? Can't see it tbh.
  13. Think this Sunderland side will come for a draw and be a tough nut to crack with Moyes at the helm. They nearly did us last year, but for a late equaliser, reckon this will be tougher than most people expect due to the Puel formation. 1-1.
  14. A decent cup run and a mid table to 6th place finish would be acceptable in most fans eyes I reckon.
  15. Wtf McQueen! Nearly cost us there.
  16. Looks more Ipswich than Sheff Weds. Quite like their new badge though.
  17. Is the trip to America for anything other than publicity and to promote some Under Armour gear? Seems strange to fly everyone 8 hours to Baltimore, not exactly a place on most people's bucket lists, just for a bit of training and no friendlies. Would rather see us doing a camp in somewhere like Spain with a couple of friendlies thrown in.

The Scott Mills alternate commentary is doing a good job of brightening a dull game.
  19. If I'm reading the rules correctly then 5 first team players must make up part of the squad, and there are going to be 3 group games before the knockout stages. Therefore we've got at least 3 EFL trophy games and 6 Europa League games on top of the domestic league and League Cup matches, here's hoping we sign some major reinforcements this summer. As much as I enjoyed the trip to Wembley I'm firmly in the keep it for the lower leagues camp, can't bear the idea of B teams in this country.

  21. It was inevitable but I'm still a bit gutted that Sadio has moved on. For me he was the first Maverick since MLT that could play gash all game yet produce a moment of magic to get us something from the match. With all that being said though I can't wish him or the bin dippers well, so here's hoping it all goes tits up.

Gareth Southgate, Jesus wept. How's he going to rally the troops or expect the players to respect him when he achieved th square root of **** all in his career. Just another yes man for the FA to dictate through. Steve McLaren Mark II.
  23. Could you imagine the meltdown!!

    Euro 2016

When people say "How can you not support England, they're your home country" it's simple, because of games like tonight. Because we constantly appoint yes men who pick players based on the clubs they play for, as well as whom the FA and their sponsors think should be picked. Square pegs in round holes all the ****ing time, it's been the same now for the past 15 years, doing well in qualifying and being an abject piece of embarrassing **** come the main event. The FA can spend their millions on things like St Georges Park but it won't make a blind bit of difference, we're one of the biggest underachieving football teams of all time, a complete and utter embarrassment. How anyone can willingly spend hundreds of pounds to go abroad and watch that **** is beyond me.
