Sat in the hospitality today, never done it before but am expecting to be surrounded by loads of plastic Mancs. Despite all the free food and drink I'd still rather be in my ST seat in the Northam. Shame there's no Ramirez or Mayuka, would have fancied our chances.

Billy Sharp - Joins Notts Forest on Season Long Loan
bpsaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Wondered the same myself, perhaps he was a bit of a panic buy after missing out on Hooper and J-Rod? Shame to see him go, seemed like a key member of the squad particulary personality wise. Guessing it's a loan deal and not permanent in case we need him should we be relegated. -
Cracking goals from Reeves and Punch. SSN presenter stating Lee's celebration "kind of inspired by Usain Bolt". Idiot.
-
Just seen on SSN that we.ve been linked with Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia. Rated at £8mill and wanted by a host of clubs apparently.
-
Keep it 1-0 and I'll be happy.

Great tackle! Get up Aguero you woofter

Wow, **** just got real. COYR.

I would rather listen to twitchy tell it like it is than listen to the old dinosaurs Lawro and Hansen making little snide digs at the smaller teams like us and talking **** with the sex pest Lineker.

The thing with that dirty little cesspit of a club, is that it would be completely unsurprising if they managed to fluke a win against Plymouth tomorrow, with everyone praising poor old plucky Pompey showing courage through adversity blah blah blah.

Pricing structure has been completely ridiculous, especially considering the number of friendliest we've had at St Mary's this year, why can't we just go back to having one like we used to. Sub 4000 attendances are an embarrassment.

You've counted the wrong Paul Jones.

Think I've seen your surname on here at some point in the past, fairly certain you've got a cousin called Katrina? I was in her tutor group and left in 2001. It was a sad day indeed, I wasn't a great friend of S.C. but was in a few classes with him and often played footy at lunchtimes together. Was awful for so many people who didn't know how to deal with a tragedy like that. Not sure if the charity football match still happens, be nice if it did. The other suicide you mentioned was pretty messed up too, didn't know about the drugs side of it but believe his girlfriend had been cheating on him with his brother which pushed him over the edge. He loaded a backpack full of bricks and jumped of Cobden Bridge, not nice. He even drew a picture of what he planned to do as a suicide note. He was a good friend of my sister so witnessed first hand the effect it had on his friends and family.

He is entitled to that opinion I agree. Just like I'm entitled to the opinion that he's a moron for making such a ridiculous and unsubstantiated comment like that. Harding was a class act during our time in League one, played such an important part in Lallana's brilliant form those 2 seasons as well. I wish him nothing but the best for the remainder of his career.

Houston we have a moron.

A lad in my year at school took his own life by jumping from a block of flats in Townhill Park when we were about 15, he'd fooled around with a girl at a party who accused him of rape. The whole thing was pretty awful, seeing fellow pupils ans teachers in tears etc....

Dickson did play and had his name read out prior to the game. Was quite a battle I thought, with some hefty challenges going in surprisingly for a friendly. Don't think it was quite as one sided as our OS makes out, Sholing certainly held their own against us. Our number 6 at the back was class, really bossed the defence and won everything in the air, can't say the same about our No.5, was all arms and legs and not a lot else.

Apart from a few people everyone seems to agree with Matt, so they should too as Rooney was, and has been awful for England ever since he got injured in Euro 2004.

Is it just me, or did the way Spain play remind you of anyone...?
bpsaint replied to sidthesquid's topic in The Saints
Yes, they reminded me of Barcelona. HTH. -
Given how popular the Premier League is across the globe these days I'm starting to wonder if the kit does indeed look like the mock ups whether the radical change from red and whites stripes is because Cortese liked it or if it's designed to appeal to a far east audience, ala Cardiff City. Perhaps we're trying to get some investment by increasing our appeal over there, step 1 was completed with the signing of Tadanari Lee.

Was a cracking game last time Anderlecht were at St Marys, that Champions League ticket package seems very reasonable too, although to boost the attendances a bit wouldn't of done much harm to round it off to £50 and include Wolves in it.
-
£25? Lol yeah all the best, think I'll give it a miss.

Cheers for posting that. Mr Allen was my PE teacher at Bitterne Park, top bloke, sounds like he helped push Aaron on to where he is now.
