    Spiders

****ing hate spiders, yet still feel compelled to look at things like this out of curiosity.
  3. Thats what I thought too,I know they did ban him taking his bell in though as it was an offensive weapon. Still remember the "ding dong ding dong, wheres your bell gone" chant.
  4. You know what,**** it. My earlier reaction to the draw was due to the fact that on paper they're clearly a stronger squad than us and I did fear humiliation on our own patch. But its the FA Cup, and its a special competition. We've got nothing to lose but for a bit of pride, but as others have said we're the League One club and we're expected to lose so the pressures on them, who knows what kind of position they'll be in by then, but we can fully expect Pardew to make it very clear to the team just what this game means, and to send the players out there with no fear and some fire in their bellies. I was there that day we lost 4-1 at Nottarf, its a wound that still hasn't healed, the sound of 17,000 of them ****ers singing Amarillo, whilst all we could do was stand there and take it. I'd love to put that ghost to bed,if Leeds can go to Old Trafford and beat United then we've got nothing, NOTHING to be afraid of! Bring on the webbed feet, incestuous, inbred ****wits, I can't wait!!
  5. Wish I could say I was excited, but I fear embarassment on our own turf.
  6. Looking forward to Aliens vs Predator finally getting a release on a console, the trailers look pretty good so far. Also looking forward to the follow up to Batman:Arkham Asylum which has been pencilled in for June . Loved the first one,was a touch on the short side though.
  7. Just finished watching the 4th season of Dexter, and for me it was certainly the best to date. Won't spoil it for the fans yet to watch it but the ending really was a shocker, didn't see it coming at all! So glad to see Michael C.Hall win a much deserved Golden Globe last night, shocked to hear he is battling cancer but it appears he'll make a full recovery which is great. Congratulations also to Jon Lithgow for his Best Supporting Actor win,he was exceptional as The Trinity Killer. Looking forward to the final season of Lost which begins soon, theres a lot of loose ends need tying up and I hope really it finishes with a bang and not a whimper.
  8. Without trying to be too much a Star Wars fanboy,Return Of The Jedi wasn't directed by George Lucas either.
  9. I was there when he came out for a warm down after the match, some of our fans gave him grief, he gave a bit back and our fans threw their toys out the pram. Has everyone forgot we've already faced one of his teams, Sunderland in the 06/07 season, since then?
  10. As many others have said Arse or Liverpool away for me would be nice. They're both grounds that I really want to go to,and as we'd be expected to lose anything else would be a bonus.
  11. I'll never forget Mario Licka for one reason. Mrs Licka :smt055
  12. Official club statement from Pompey is that the reason nobody has been paid is because a file wasn't loaded at the bank properly!? They're scraping the barrel for excuses now.
  13. Could well of just been an arsehole phone support guy. After a year of owning my first PS3 one day it decided to just stop reading discs, searched on google and the like and found it'd happened to a few other people. Phoned up Sony and the guy said it was quite a common problem and they'd have it collected. A guy turned up the next day, took it away in a plastic box and it was returned within a week, been fine since.
  14. Best: Arsenal 3-2 at the Dell, Coming back from 0-3 down to draw 3-3 against Liverpool earlier that season, beating the Skates 2-1 with the last minute Crouchy penalty, Norwich 4-3, Spurs 4-0,and as well as the 3-3 draw with Newcastle the 1-1 in the same fixture the season before was just as entertaining. Worst: a few in the relegation season of 04-05,notably Villa and Everton at home, and losing 4-1 at Fratton. 'That' loss to Tranmere, Watford 5-2.
  15. That website has gone straight onto my favourites! Empire Strikes Back brings back some memories!
  16. Can see the similarities yeah. Dunno why but whenever I see a picture of Lambert I can't help but imagine him in a tracksuit and Hackett cap. With regards to that celebratory photo, its great to see that the win clearly means a lot to Trotman too, even though he may no longer be here come the first leg of the next round.
  17. Ahhhh,I stand corrected. Said the man in the orthapedic shoes.
  18. Didn't think you could be offside from a goal-kick?
  19. Another fantastic win, really wasn't expecting that scoreline after the first half, was one of the most tedious halves i've seen for a while! Quality free-kick by Lambert, can't wait to see it again! Bad game for Antonio I thought, likewise James. We NEED to sign some proper cover for right back in January.
  20. Fave Either Great Big Sled or Don't Shoot Me Santa by The Killers Worst East 17 - Stay Another Day
  21. The time and space their defenders gave Hammond for the 2nd was shocking! Great finish by Lambert, that little slip would have been enough to make others lose their composure.
  22. I admire your efforts but http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4777229.City_fails_in_World_Cup_bid/?ref=mr Give it up guys, ain't gonna happen.
  23. amen to that!!
  24. We did that already,6-1 in the 02-03 season. Fantastic win today, every time I think its going to be a tough game and i'd be happy with a draw we end up winning! Tough game next week, hope to see St Marys quite full for it though! If only Lowe had put us into admin before the deadline......
