I dunno, the last 7 or 8 years once they made the Archers our home end, used to be rocking and really felt like we made a difference when the team needed the boost. Because of the executive boxes, location of Britannia Road and away coaches, plus footbridge the only logical place to put the away fans is towards the Northam end of the kingsland, but I can’t see the club spending the money to adapt the stadium - particularly as they want St Mary’s as friendly for the day tripper as possible.

Technically a former saint in the winning defence too....

Fully expecting us to get turned over by Villa, 1-3 to them kind of score line. They’re a bit resurgent in recent games and their score lines aren’t a fair reflection of their performances, couple that with our fragile mentality at home and I only see one winner.

All in all a **** day out. We never looked like winning today, after the winter break and the talk of making our home form more formidable I don’t understand just why we were so poor today - so poor we made Burnley look good tbh. Can only assume with their first that Ings forgot his positioning and thought the harsh bend on the ball was taking it into the side netting - why is it always us that embarrasses themselves like that. Just like the Leicester game it put the myth of shooting towards the Northam second half being good for us. Roll on next week when a resurgent Villa come and do us over too I bet...

Can only assume the weather put people off attending Bramall Lane - crap support isn't something you can their fans with, proper football club with a decent following. Loving seeing them pushing for the top 4, a perfect example of the sum of all parts being more important than individual talent. Finding it both hilarious, and a shame, that Leeds look like doing a typical Leeds. Another club that belong in the top tier however i'd much rather see someone like Brentford come up for the first time. Am I right in thinking the away end is no longer the roofless terrace from when we went there in 2005?

Just watched the highlights and something I never noticed in real time was the way Hojbjerg just walks away with his head down after Palace missed from the Vest mistake. Not a fan of his at the best of times but I’d want to see my captain giving Vest a good bollocking for making that stupid mistake. Noticed it from McCarthy a few times too, never seems to get angry when someone drops him in the ****. So glad we had a game tonight after Saturday, didn’t give us time to dwell on what went wrong and now it’s out of our system. Free hit on Saturday now with no league implications.

Buzzing - massive win, love doing them ****s away after the way their players behaved at St Mary’s, especially that knobhead Zaha. Loved Prowsey playing the pantomime villain again, seems to add an extra edge to his game. Fair play to Vest for recovering from that earlier error to be pretty solid throughout - replacement RB would be nice, no more make shift solution, must be someone available on loan, what’s Clyne up to?

Went in at half time 2-0 up against a tired looking Wolves side and thought it was job done, incredibly naive to not come out and apply the same level of pressure that we did in the first half. Would have taken a point before the game and am even more fuming we didn’t get that given the lead we had. A sobering reminder to stop with the silly talk of Europe and that Stephens is the next Alderweireld - there’s still a long way to go yet.

Before the Spurs game I said I’d be happy with 5 points from the next 5 games and incredibly we’ve surpassed that already! Would be amazing to win 3 on the bounce and push for the top half of the table but I’m also aware just how quickly things can change. I’d take 2 points from the next 2 and guarantee ending Jan on 30 points...
