Love that, wish it was our new kit

I wish Hoj was as good as he thinks he is.

Imaine agreeing to one of those vouchers and then hearing the news today the TUI are in major trouble. Would make commercial sense to offer people an incentive against next seasons ticket, however with the doubt about whether we’ll be able to attend, whether it’s safe, and how **** the last 3 seasons have been I can’t see many takers.
-
I found those Ts and Cs already - however they are for the 2017/18 season.
-
Can anyone find the current Season Ticket t’s and c’s anywhere? The link on the website doesn’t work, probably a coincidence. I ask as some clubs apparently have it written into theirs that no refund is due even in the case of behind closed door matches.

I’m glad it’s not just me that felt that way about After Life - reading some reviews before I watched the second series had me wondering if I was watching the same show. It’s very real, and there’s some interesting characters that give me a few belly laughs, but amongst all the realism the Postman feels like a fish out of water in the context of the show - I normally like Joe Wilkinson but take the bath scene for example, totally unrealistic given the context of the show - and then you’ve got Roxy the hooker, who again doesn’t fit the show as she’s totally unbelievable. What was with Ricky crying in every episode too - it’s like he just learnt how to turn the waterworks on at stage school and thought this will be good to tug a few heartstrings. it ether needs to be a real, bittersweet, tragic comedy or silly full of unrealistic set pieces kind of sitcom - not both.

There was also the ‘No Future’ piece that he did off Bevois Valley a few years back, highly likely that he has links to the city in some way.
-
I seem to remember a lot of discontent after the Christmas/New Year period as we weren’t playing well - then we switched to a 5-3-2 formation for the Watford game and everything seemed to click from there.
-
These suggestions get sillier by the day. How much effort would they expect players in the bottom 6-8 teams actually put in if they don’t have to worry about getting relegated - the top 6 however will all be jostling for Euro places though so they’ll be trying their damned hardest still, makes all this talk of trying to maintain integrity a complete joke.
-
Its such a shame that the man I idolised is such a bellend on Twitter with some pretty stupid opinions
-
Good - he makes a good argument too. Hopefully a few other teams pipe up now and the whole thing just gets voided.
-
Oh yeah VAR - for a blissful while there I forgot that it existed. Damn you Shroppie
-
Guessing there’s no reason Championship grounds can’t be used then if the EFL decide to void. Pride Park, the Madejski and Huddersfield all spring to mind.
-
Perhaps, but it’s not exactly a challenge for fans to get to St Mary’s or any ground for that matter if they wanted to.
-
I’m probably missing something really obvious here as I’ve just woken up, but if the team buses arrive separately and staff is at a minimum why does it matter where the ground is located? If all the entrances are closed to the public anyway there’s more threat from a supermarket in a built up area than a football ground.
-
Ridiculous isn’t it - I mean these elite athletes don’t need to breathe properly do they
-
I may be wrong but the tweet and subsequent reply by our head groundsman seems to suggest it

Which three years of Saints history would you experience again?
bpsaint replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Saints
As I was born in 85 I’d love to have been a fan in 81-84, the feeling of challenging for the league with the European footballer of the year in your side would have been amazing. Bet the pubs before games were a great laugh too. -
Been a few redundancies from what I can gather on Twitter - combination of Coronavirus and poor financial results taking its toll I presume
-
If this were to happen at St George’s Park as previously mentioned, each team would need to commandeer a local hotel each with their own staff working there, lock down for two weeks prior without their family, and stay there there entire course of the season remainder without physically spending time with their families for potentially 10 weeks altogether without venturing outside due to risk of contagion. Can’t see people going for that really - basically a prisoner for over two months for the sake of a few games of football.
-
There is no way on earth JWP gets into any midfield of the last 8 years over prime Steven Davis, let alone Vic and Morgan, i don’t think he’d even make the bench.
-
Still paying for the ineptitude or clueless Les. If absolutely anyone still thinks it would be better if we were to go down and we’d win a lot more games and have more fun I seriously suggest you look at these accounts and just how ****ed we would be.
-
I’m not sure they’ll get away with not refunding and only offering discounts - I’m sure there were a lot of people that hadn’t planned on renewing anyway given how **** the last 3 years have been, I also expect there will be a fear factor that puts people off large crowds for some time yet so they won’t fancy renewing either, especially the senior citizen demographic. Can only assume we’ve paid for tickets to an event that won’t go ahead so they need to refund us, I guess business insurance will cover them - they just need to wait to be told by the relevant authorities that large crowds are banned..
-
Interesting - especially with Ralph’s comments about training. Even with our hybrid turf it will be at least 4 weeks till the pitch can be used. If other teams are doing the same it could point to games being held at a neutral venue as previously reported and/or no pre season between this and next.

What a team to watch that would have been....
