  1. I used to look at Hughes’ dour, miserable face moaning face on the sidelines and think to myself I’m so glad he’s not our manager. Its come to something when I’m happy to see him coming in to hopefully keep us up.
  2. Good ****ing riddance.
  3. Seems the bookie are expecting a home win too, struggling to find much better than around the 3/1 mark for a home win.
  4. Can’t believe Kat sold the club to this shower. All this talk of making sure our future is safeguarded and that it’s the correct decision for everyone and we’re on the cusp of relegation which could so easily result in a second relegation next season. Gao must have advisors who would have put him in the picture about our current plight and the financial implications? Why no action, or even a statement from him.
  5. Really? Clasie will get absolutely battered in the championship, far too lightweight!! Can’t see us appointing a household name with a proven track record, we’ll probably get linked with some decent names and settle for the guy nobody has heard of nor wants.
  6. We realistically need 4 wins from our last ten games, but we’ve only managed 5 from 28.....
  7. Cup win, there’ll be plenty of promotions and relegations in coming years, cup wins are a bit harder to come by.
  8. As a superstitious sort of guy, I can’t say I’m too happy with the draw given what happened the last time we met a Manchester club in the quarter finals whom we are also due to play in the last game of the season....
  9. **** me what a goal by Rondon
  10. Great finish Tadic!!
  11. Good save, Forster wouldn’t have managed that

    New TV deal

Give me Friday and Saturday evening kick offs over MNF every time. Evening on the beers, no work the next day, what’s not to like?
  13. Gave mine up after the second half of last season was like pulling teeth as far as going to St Mary’s was concerned. The ****poor atmosphere where I stood in block 41 as all the regulars disappeared and the football was turgid combined with the sheer amount of rearranged fixtures for TV left me pretty apathetic towards the whole match day experience. As there was no benefit for us to renew early like a cheaper rate I thought I’d give it the summer to see how we conducted business, was massIvely underwhelmed by the appointment of MP and our transfer business was laughable again so I thought I’d find something else to do with my time and money. Can honestly count on 3 fingers the amount of times I’ve thought I’d wish I’d been there to see that. Every passing week leaves me thinking thank god I didn’t bother this year, and I resent all those ****s in charge of the club or making me feel this way about the team I love.
  14. Feel more convinced than ever that we’re going down this year. No fight whatsoever from this team, MP clearly isn’t motivating the team and the board seem uninterested by our plight. Does Gao even comprehend how much relegation will cripple his investment financially? The past six weeks have been a complete embarrassment for us both on and off the pitch.
  15. Game over.
  16. The Dutch Aaron Martin. Stephens/Hoedt is not a premier league CB pairing that will keep us up.

    Daniel Fox

Always felt he’d have made a better wing back than a LB. Loved the connection between him and lambert, Fox cutting back and pinging a ball for Lambert at the back post. Him and Danny Butterfield were fantastic crossers of the ball.
  18. Was nice to see the desire from Boufal wanting a go at the free kick. Let a lot of us fans he was probably getting ****ed off with watching our “dead ball specialist” fluff his lines time after time.
  19. Riding our luck, that’s a foul anywhere else on the pitch
  20. i still feel that there was a bit of fight under Redknapp though, for me Lowe persisted too long with Wigley and then didn’t back Redknapp with proper funds for reinforcements, hence the likes of Olivier Bernard and Callum Davenport trying to keep us up! Losing Kevin Phillips to injury and David Prutton to a 10 match ban didn’t help either.
  21. It angers and upsets me that the club have stuck by him for this long on a hope that he’s suddenly going to come good and turn our fortunes around. It reminds me of when Venkys bought in Steve Kean as manager and he was so bad that every week you’d be thinking he’s going to get the sack this week, and the next week, and the next week.....before it was all too late for them. its a repeat of Lowe holding onto Wigley for so long and ultimately costing us relegation. How MP has made it this far I’ll never know
  22. Why was the allocation at Wembley so poor against Spurs if it’s supposed to be 10%
  23. MoPe and Les, kindly pack your bags and **** off please
  24. What a shame the greatest kit in our recent history is being worn by this useless bunch of ****s!!!
  25. Crap draw all round really, was hoping the bigger teams would end up facing each other and do the rest of us a favour!!
