Dirty ****, deserved red

Massive win that papers over the cracks for a few more days. Dreadful first half, better second half but boro offered nothing so it wasn't hard to improve on the first 45.
-
The way I'm feeling at the moment I would rather stay at home and pluck each individual hair out of my arse crack than go and watch the dull, insipid rubbish currently being played at St Mary's. Really can't call this one, on paper I'd say home win, but we look completely devoid of attacking threat and Boro can defend very well at times, we need to win this so very badly, but I wouldn't be surprised if Boro manage a result, and I f things don't go our way I expect the atmosphere to get quite nasty.

Utter **** tonight, but then you have to question the manager for playing our very much right footed player on the left wing. How he played the full match is beyond me, he really is the new Jermaine Wright. I'd much rather have had McQueen on the wing.

Each time it feels like we've turned a corner we serve up ****e like that. This was a poor poor Palace side we were going up against and we made them look a class above. Poor performances and bad tactics cost us massively today. Redmond is the new Jermaine Wright, JWP is back to his average best, and Fonte looks a shade of his usual self, he's having a laugh if he thinks he'll be getting that move to United. Thoroughly ****ed off now, sublime to ridiculous in 3 days FFS.

Embarrassment. One step forwards one step back for us at the moment, can't believe we've managed to lose to Hull and Palace.

2-1 Chelsea, good finish by Willian

City should have been out of sight, can't believe Chelsea are back in this.

Palace are having a shocker at the moment, I'll be extremely disappointed and ****ed off if we don't get a point at the very minimum from this. A convincing win for us would probably spell the end of Pardew.

Police Investigations into historical interference with young players
bpsaint replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
Its only a matter of time until some names of possible abusers begin to leak out, especially with the reports the phone line setup by the NSPCC has had an unprecedented amount of calls to report stuff in its first day. I'm wondering who will be the first household name to come forward as a possible victim, and in turn whether any household name will be linked as one of the abusers. A lot of the focus in the Nationals today is that Chelsea may have paid off a victim to stop them going public about abuse by a former employee in the 70's, and I dare say they might not be the only ones to do so. -

Interviewed two players who waived the right to anonymity and described what eventually lead to a sexual assault. One of the players interviewed suggested the club must have known what was going on, and there was an interview with Dave Merrington who said he reported the rumours he'd heard to the club. The reporter said she'd spoken to other ex players who were abused but they wished to remain anonymous. Images and videos of the Dell and our club badge etc. -

Pretty damning stuff on South Today right now, our name is well and truly being dragged though the mud. -
Great performance tonight, two very well taken goals and another clean sheet is good to see. Gutted to have gotten Liverpool in the Semis though, would fancy our chances in a one off final where anything could happen, can't see us getting much from a two legged affair, especially having to go to Anfield second.

Not in the U.K. But is being shown abroad so should be some decent streams. I see Kevin no Friend of Saints is ref tomorrow, bodes well......

This photo, alongside the one Noah took in Shanghai, encourages me that the Lander group will be working alongside the Liebherr's rather than taking over from them.
-
The funniest thing about this is that their fans take pride in saying we haven't beaten them for 14 years. They can't see the stupidity of that boast.
-
Absolute embarrassment. Not getting a decent striker in to replace Pelle and Mane and gambling on doing things on the cheap has cost us once again.
-
**** poor defending. How are this pile of **** back in the game, they're atrocious. 2-1 now, **** off

Don't know what that will achieve, UA is an American company and you know how much those stupid yanks like to shoot stuff. I'm sure UA isn't the only major brand that advocate hunting.

Thousands of ****ed up Sweaties on the **** in our city all day peddling their Republican bull****? No thanks.
-
Very much this. Its one thing having a lot of money to buy a football club, but its another thing knowing how to use that money properly. When you look at what the Liebherr Dynasty has achieved at Saints, in terms of spending but doing so wisely, to get us where we our now is an incredible example of how to run a football club.

So do we want win the group and end up playing a minnow from the arse end of Europe, or do we want to finish second and potentially end up playing the likes of Ajax, Sporting Lisbon, Lyon or Schalke?

Whilst I won't slag the bloke off as i'm happy to have an England international between the sticks again, he is making decisions that are starting to cause caution. Twice against Chelsea he made two routine saves but whilst a good keeper will palm the ball away from danger he pushed it straight back into the box, and luckily we were on hand to clear. He did the same again last night in the second half when he made a good save down to his right but sent the ball spinning back across the face of goal which again came to nothing luckily. He has to take a share of responsibility for their goal too i'm afraid, should never have been beaten at the near post like that, its the kind of error we saw all too often with Kelvin.
