What a load of hysterical nonsense based on what exactly? In the real world there is not a single article , tweet, sky sports ticker thing about Hughes not signing. Pretty sure if there was any truth it would have started to leak. How about the reason it is delayed is because the club want a massive double announcement of a new player signing at the same time? Probably not true but more plausible. Or perhaps because all parties have been working together for 8 weeks there is no rush. Transfer targets have been discussed, pre season timings agreed etc. No need to pay extra to get lawyers to work overtime to get it done. I'm going to concentrate on winding scousers up about getting beat on Saturday and how they owe it all to us anyway.

There are some but I would guess only a very small number. I worked with a chap who was a season ticket holder before we got relegated back in 2005. He didn't support any particular club and didn't claim to be a Saints fan but wanted to watch premier league football. When we to relegated he switched to Reading as they were still in the premier league.

You can park at the Leicester Tigers ground which is about 10 minutes walk. Stop off at counting house on way to ground. Can't remember the cost though. Last time we went back to pub after game so not sure how quick it is to get away after.

Hi Rich, Matt, Keith and I will be at Leicester and the semi; the other northern saints from Tel Aviv will be at the semi along with a load of others. Doing an early dart from work tomorrow but hoping to be in the counting house around 6pm to 6:30 for a quick pint or two Hopefully see you there or in the ground to say hello

Agree it is far too complicated. In my group of 10, all of whom are either season ticket holders or members we have 7 different qualifying dates. Given we have less than 33k season ticket holders and members it was always going to make general sale so why over complicate it.

Bizarre logic. My daughters were born and live in Manchester but are Saints fans through and through. I was born in Devon but have only ever supported Saints. Why? My Dad, my mum and 3/4 of my grandparents and great grand parents were all from Southampton. Southampton are the family team, most of my uncles, cousin's etc all support Saints. Despite the current poor form both my girls remain loyal to saints despite all their friends supporting city. But hey, I guess we are all plastic weirdos to you! Knob

I thought the same as you until I saw the second post and worked out I know who he is in real life! I can confirm he is a committed Saints fan (who probably at times should be committed). Efforts include leaving Newcastle at 10:30 pm on Christmas day to catch a coach down for the Spurs game on boxing day!
