Agree it is far too complicated. In my group of 10, all of whom are either season ticket holders or members we have 7 different qualifying dates. Given we have less than 33k season ticket holders and members it was always going to make general sale so why over complicate it.
-
No, only if we win cup do we qualify.

Cheers, thanks for the link to the website I'm going to give some of those bars a call to find a venue.
-
I'd go for that line up too . Much will depend on not conceding early and getting the right service to Austin though

Hi I'm over in Miami on holiday for the Arsenal game. I think kick off will be about 09:15 local time. Any idea what stations will show the game and if any bars will be open to watch it Cheers

Would you encourage a grand-child still to be a Saints fan
John D replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
Bizarre logic. My daughters were born and live in Manchester but are Saints fans through and through. I was born in Devon but have only ever supported Saints. Why? My Dad, my mum and 3/4 of my grandparents and great grand parents were all from Southampton. Southampton are the family team, most of my uncles, cousin's etc all support Saints. Despite the current poor form both my girls remain loyal to saints despite all their friends supporting city. But hey, I guess we are all plastic weirdos to you! Knob -
Low Cost Huge was the name - the apartment where the mice ate the cockroaches but it had decent wifi!

I thought the same as you until I saw the second post and worked out I know who he is in real life! I can confirm he is a committed Saints fan (who probably at times should be committed). Efforts include leaving Newcastle at 10:30 pm on Christmas day to catch a coach down for the Spurs game on boxing day! Of course I may be wrong and it isn't who I think it is and I didn't stay in the same apartment as him in Tel Aviv after all!
-
My Mum has a membership from before Christmas but only one away (no home games) against it. I read it that she would have to wait till general sale? Bizarre

No pitch inspection planned. Overnight snow in Manchester melting fast. Safe travels all. I'll set off in about an hour!
-
Currently about an inch of settled snow in Manchester. Shouldn't pose a problem but then again this is England
-
I hold myself personally responsible for Tranmere as I phone my Dad at half time confidently talking about sorting tickets and logistics for the next round! Never again will I make that mistake

BBC reports of an incident on the WBA trip to Spain. 4 players subject to internal investigation!

Can we recall Gallagher? If so would be worth a gamble to see if he has improved enough for Premier League
-
Fee was £75m including around a £5m contingency element and also before the Celtic cut. Take those off plus legal and other gets you to the approx £60m figure.
-
Or you wouldn't know as you don't support them. Not many non Saints fans have a clue who our director of football is.
-
Lee Sharpe, say no more!
-
All rumour and speculation. There is a chance he was on the plane but just as likely he has gone without permission just in case Saints accept a fee eventually and he can have a medical lined up
-
They are season ticket holders - their view was that he had potential but not ready yet. No idea myself as not watched him but they tend to know their football. If Gallagher won't be playing regularly he may benefit from more games elsewhere but equally you have to take a punt on him at some point. I guess Saints must rate him given the new contract so fingers crossed he comes good. I agree it is too much of a gamble to rely on Austin / Long hence need to get someone else in.
-
That assumes Gallagher is good enough for Premier League. Blackburn fans I know seemed to think he is a way off still. So perhaps a loan is better for his long term development to play consistently rather than stop start appearances and bench role here. I think we should be signing a proven player for this season and hope Gallagher can kick in for next to replace Long or Austin.
-
I think the biggest challenge is getting players who can consistently deliver. £15m these days seems to only get you players who perform in fits and starts. Boufal, Tadic, Redmond and Gabbiandini can look top 5 quality one week or for part of the game but absolute garbage the next. Getting players to consistently deliver in our price bracket is a struggle. And no I have no idea how to resolve it other than hope it evens out to a top 8 finish!
-
Given he is leaving Lazio as they won't guarantee him 1st choice, I wonder what we have said around his place in team. Of course he may say he wants first team but is more interested in the premier league money!
-
Looks like we have blocks 4-6. Tickets currently only available in 5 and 6. Did anyone get tickets in block 4 so is this sold out or just not released yet?
-
Won't be due diligence for a deal if nine months! Nine weeks maybe

Not if you know how to read them
