even more cryptic message on Saints official site at close of play thursday there are only 150 left but then it says the good news is that additional away fans can pay on the day. I don't know if that means additional to the 150 left or not anyone got any idea?
-
Spoke to saints ticket office on wednesday. They said you can pay on day.
-
sorry didn't ask that question
-
I'm going - so that makes it 4 By the way, in case anyone was wondering spoke to ticket office 2 minutes ago who said you can pay on the day John

bugger - flight cancelled. No footy for me tonight then
-
Its that 7370 flight. Be at airport in 10 min so i guess i'll find out then. Thanks for your help
-
Thanks. On the road at moment so only got net access via phone.
-
Is the airport still shut? Supposed to be flying down from manchester in 2 hours. Think i might not make it to game!
-
Hope its on - got my flight down booked. Do you think Flybe will give me a refund as they sponsor us!!

Anyone know a decent place to park for quick get away after the game. Need to get back sharpish for a birthday party for my brother in law
-
Timing would make sense ie after transfer window has shut Perhaps we have not had any interest in any players (or interest at the right price) therefore unlikely we will sell anyone. If we cannot reduce overdraft it may be that Barclays are saying enough is enough Not good
-
I'm going - got the in laws in Norwich so get a Saints game in and in the good books with the wife too
-
Why not just boycott first 5 min at next game and then 10 the game after and so on. Fans can go into ground pre kick off etc and have a pint of **** beer just don't take your seat. The visual impact of an empty ground at kick off would send a clear message. All it would take is few fans at each entrance before the game to spread the word and then the message is clear without missing the game or wasting money.

A number of posters have suggested that administration is likely this month. I presume this is opinion rather than fact? Given we could, even in a fire sale, probably get a minimum of £3m by flogging Skacel, Davis, Surman, Schederlin and Lallana do people not think this may be sufficient to keep Barclays happy for a few months? Or is it a planned decision to avoid the points deduction next season.

Depends on the "wanted me more" - ie what does this mean? Does it mean that the Watford manager is more persuasive than Jan. I guess it relates to any loan fee Chelsea wanted, or that Watford offered to pay 100% of his wages or a higher % than Saints could afford. Either way, I'm sure we will never know the whole truth

Which ten players are out of contract at end of season?
John D replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Wasn't Gasmi also only on a season long loan? -
I'm feeling positive today. Saints take lead in 1st half but utd equalise with 10 min to go. We get stuffed five nil in replay

Concept is good and it has worked for other clubs. I think the people running it have failed to engage fans and be proactive. I joined but since receiving my certificate have not received a single email or letter from them despite me emailing their website to ask what was going on.

Golac for me then mills. Have to mention alexi cherednic the russian chap for comedy value
-
Seconded

Its always been said that we don't have an issue with the tax man. Don't know why / or if this is valid though
-
Were they signed off on a going concern or break up basis though? Thats the question

I was disappointed by the comments made by Chris (who I have never met although probably bought his book) especially as they were given such a wide airing. Fair enough, he has chosen not to support Saints anymore that is his right as a fan and I do not criticise him for that. What I struggle to understand is his conflicting comments on loyalty to a club. Firstly he claims that fans still supporting Saints are zealots showing misguided loyalty. But he then goes on to praise the support of Newport County and Wolves fans for the loyalty they show to their team - the very loyalty he criticises earlier in Saints fans. Both these teams have suffered from mismanagement over the years although perhaps not directly comparable to our position Bizarre or have i misunderstood his message

PLC accounts have to filed with Companies House within 7 months of the financial year end so for SLH this will be end of January. As others have mentioned I think the preparation of the a/cs on a going concern basis is potentially a stumbling block. We have had a "matter of emphasis" statement re going concern in the last 2 accounts and things have got worse since. As an ex auditor and based on the limited info I have I would not allow them to be prepared on a gc basis. Admittedly I have no inside knowledge so this could be well wide of the mark. There may be some quick sales in january to try and generate some cash to allow us to continue on a gc basis and to get Barclays support. Alternatively they could be hoping for a run of wins to allow them to get them out when the mood is more upbeat or Dave Jones the FD may have lost some of his staff in cutbacks so is having to type them up himself!! Perhaps he can't afford a printer. Think it was last years accounts that originally still had tracked changes on them.
