  1. Providing they do some form of recognition for those supporters who attend games through a database then I guess it will be ok - I'll be going to enough to qualify for the JP final anyway! Still seems strange decision as I reckon they still could have made some money by keeping memberships going
  2. I pretty disappointed too. As an exiled saint there is no point in getting a season ticket but I would happily pay for a membership to give me little bit of priority behind the season tickets and before the masses for the big games or small away allocations etc Matty Out!!!
  3. Could be legal title transfers at midnight ie deal is from 10th. Or more likely just attention seeking
  4. Isn't he connected to aviva somehow. Wasn't ringo starr in their ad? And he is scouse
  5. So: Need offer sufficient enough to satisfy creditors to avoid liquidation and/or further points deductions. MJ fronted bid (whilst historically all mouth / no trousers) may be getting close to putting in offer acceptable to creditors. Salz group (still all mouth / no trousers) are trying to pick up club for less No-one knows who the money men are behind any of the groups (real groups and those invented in Saintsweb world) Its 4 days to Friday I go on holiday next weekend - this better be sorted by then
  6. Presumably they thought the £100k would continue to increase and become £200k and so on. Therefore they decided to draw a line in the sand knowing that £2m out of a £4m debt is better than £2.2m out of a £5m debt. (all numbers made up for illustrative purposes!) Question is - why couldn't we convince them we could continue to reduce the debt and not increase it?
  7. So how many bids is that in total 1,2 or 3? I'm lost
  8. Would you mind popping out now - would go and get one myself but a bit of a trek
  9. I think there is a regulation along the lines that the administrator is personally liable for any additional debts that are incurred after the club has entered administration. Therefore this will drive any deadlines because as soon as this happens he will liquidate the club to avoid any costs to himself John
  10. but likewise there are no alternative 30k stadiums in Southampton. The new owners need the ground as much as Aviva need a buyer. Its a question of who blinks first isn't?
  11. To question the logic - If Wolves were 11 points clear of the 3rd place team but 5 points from 2nd and then went into administration would it apply this season or next? ie to apply it this season would see them fall 1 place. likewise if Stockport were 11 points clear of the team below them ie they would not fall a place then when would it apply
  12. Agreed - this is where the logic of the rule falls over. In effect Stockport are able to end up with no penalty. I do not think any club should be penalised and sympathise with Stockport just think we have been hard done by
  13. That made me spill my coffee - simple ones are the best
  14. I suspect any deal is going to involve an element of borrowed money - depends how much, who from and what the repayment structure is. Hopefully the benefit now is that no institution will lend to us based on on anything other than League 1 revenue streams therefore it should be serviceable and if we do go back up there will be an upside in terms of additional revenue.
  15. Me too. Don't now which thread to read, don't know who to believe or what to believe, people are even questioning what day of the week is Friday now Where's St David and LLS when you need them to give us the truth
  16. Exactly 3min and 8 seconds of the 4 minutes had been played. I know someone who started their stopwatch when ref blew whistle for 2nd half
  17. 22. You forgot Pulis
  18. Whilst there is a slim chance he may come good (although personal view is that he won't) my instinct is to say that he is too linked to the past and if we do not get a decent start next year to reach zero point within 4 or 5 games things will turn on him. For those reasons Personally would go for Alex Ferguson - I've heard he has been a reasonable success at United and perhaps he fancies a new challenge!
  19. Done x2 Had to do it via the ticket info line number on 0845 6889288 and not the offsite ticket number though UTS John
  20. Cheers Had a chance to catch up on things now. Whilst uncomfortable with the notion of paying BWP wages it sounds as if every penny is vital. The donate a ticket scheme sounds like the best way of doing it to me John
  21. Ignorant question maybe as haven't had time to read the thousands of posts - what has LC done to keep club afloat?
  22. Agreed - if it is that bad why hasn't the administrator confirmed this and stated exactly what is needed, why it is needed, when by and what for as taking a 10 point penalty over liquidation is a no brainer. Only he knows the real facts so he should come out and spell it out Saturday is the last chance to really raise some funds so why not make a statement now. Waters are further muddied when you read the Guardian article which sounded full of promise.
  23. To yellow Submarine Saints are going down and we need to rob a bank, need to rob a bank, need to rob a bank
