  1. With us continuing to operate a premiership infrastructure in terms of stadium and acadamy and support staff plus a reasonable outlay on transfers and wages and reduced ticket prices etc the break even figure is higher than I originally thought it would be. Markus is bankrolling us for the next few seasons until we return to the premier league.
  2. Sorry but this is just confusing me even more - I think we need someone to clarify it for us
  3. Interesting debate this one. If the whole stadium is open - I agree that ST holders should get time to claim own seat. But if only parts of the ground are open should those with seats in the bits that are open be given priority over those s/t that have to move?
  4. I missed the train by 2 mins at waterloo so didn't make it either - had to settle for sky sports news
  5. I've got a ticket behind the goal which I want to swap for one in the other stand if anyone is interested.
  6. Er Yes - I know a couple and believe it or not they are not all money grabbing, agent interests first doorhandles. Admittedly a large majority are though!!
  7. **** - I always thought you were Stu! Now I'm confused
  8. oh dear.....
  9. Ticket now sold cheers John

  12. There are a few northern saints travelling over from leeds who may have space. Also I am probably driving from manchester so could pick you up on the m62 somewhere. In total there are 14 who have booked tickets through the northern saints supporters club. Its funny how a mate thought I was mad for going and it is only 2.5 hours from manchester unlike most coming up from the south!
  13. Shouldn't it be WIWJALB or have I got it wrong for 30 years. Many a time I used to sing that on the vomit comet going home after a night out in manchester
  14. I see the club have guaranteed the 1st 2000 ticket sales. Hope we sell that many to justify the decision
  15. I've heard nothing either but I would have thought shareholders would have got some form of letter to say the company has been wound up etc
  16. you couldn't make it up!!
  17. 20/1.
  18. Absolutely spot on. One of the joys of football is its unpredictability. I alwas rather look at the performance over several games rather than a knee jerk reaction to individual results and as mentioned above the foundations have been laid and we are progressing despite the odd hiccup result. I have been happy since the start of the season that we are moving in the right direction. Right now I haven't ruled out the play offs but it is going to be tough given the head start other teams have got. Who knows we could be singing "put the champagne on ice, we're going to Wembley twice"
  19. No you are right. Bad idea in my view. I think it is better to have two vocal areas surrounding away fans. Don't think it will improve atmosphere but may be wrong. Wonder if there is different underlying reason for this.
  20. gone for a week according to official site - back next monday
  21. Thanks. I know I'm going to miss some - just a case of how much!
  22. Although that is a picture of Kelvin next to the article!!
  23. I'm going but will be running late due to meeting in London that finishes at 6pm! What do people reckon is quicker. Train to Parkway and taxi from airport to ground or stay on train and get taxi from Southampton central?
  24. Disagree on this one completely. I spent most of my time during MLT career in Manchester surrounded by non-saints fans. MLT was Mr Southampton and put us on the map - first comment from most after hearing I was a Saints fan would be to comment on what a great player MLT was and how come a player of his ability didn't get selected for England. Given how rubbish Saints were at the time under Branfoot he was the quality that made you proud to be a Saints fan and the only that made other fans jealous.
  25. Anyone know how many we have sold? No consensus on pub yet then - I could always drink in my local and get the bus I suppose!
