To the tune of Michael Jackson's 'Heal the World':

Papa Smurf

He's better in attack

than Bradley or Marek or even Rasiak

Games are [pause] never boring

When Papa Waigo's scoring

Score a wonder goal for you and for me

For you and for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

haha

that'll do I guess

It's true though, I remember John Burridge having a really sh!t spell, we still loved him because he used to do cartwheels and walk on his hands in the warm-up.

Bradley Wright-Phillips was sh!t, and we hated him until he robbed off some P*mpey sluts... then we loved him.

Fickle bunch? Yes, yes we are.

I honestly can't think of something I'd less want to do than that.

I personally preferred the suggestion of

Waaaaaigo Papa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaigo

sung to the tune of Day-O. The banana boat song, or the Trio chocolate bar song, if you're my age.

Second line to be something fairly generic like "he play for Saints and he score some goals"

Not sure that gets sung at many grounds, so it would be at least original.

Failing that a few verses of "there's only one Johnny Hartson" should suffice.

Papa Waigo you're so brown (LMFAO)

It doesn't matter if we're one nil down

or however many we're behind

If you score just one more time

But Papa if you cannot find the net

Maybe you can make an assist

Lay the ball off to big Lambo

And send the Saints fans into bliss

Boom, boom, boom, let me hear you say Papa WAIGO! x4

The simpler the better to ensure it'll get sung. The above two fit the bill perfectly IMO. I just hope he can live up to the hype!

How about the tune of 'The Peanut Vendor'? That's the one that Golden Wonder used for many years in their peanut adverts; I'm sure plenty of people will remember that. But if you want the tune, it's here:

Papa Waigo - from Senegal,

Papa Waigo - scores lots of goals...

Get that going as a chant, and you then need a few more to take up the Waaiiiigooo!! bit.

Simple enough to catch on, but maybe needs better words that I can come up with...
