Whitey Grandad Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Bargain. Agreed. £3 for a great evening's entertainment. I don't quite understand the bit about season ticket holders not being able to have their usual seats. I can understand this if their area is closed but does it also apply to the Northam? Yeah I think it applies to Northam despite the fact that it's still open, not really sure why, guess it just saves the club some extra hassle. bpsaint Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 (edited) Great prices, still don't agree with the £15 matchday price though. I know the fans have plenty of time to get tickets in advance, but we should be encouraging people who might not decide till the day,not putting them off. Bailey Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Good prices once again, smart move from the club. Wouldn't be surprised if we had around 12,000 for this one.
Bourno Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Good prices once again, smart move from the club. Wouldn't be surprised if we had around 12,000 for this one. It's on TV, so surpised they didn't go for a knock down fiver (must be getting some cash from SKY for this). Also a lot of kids will not be attending as the game will finish too late. I agree that £7.50 is still a bargain, but we should look to get as many there as possible as the world may be looking on.
Colinjb Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Superb from the club! A great gesture to get a good crowd in despite the game being on Tele.
brianoneils slidingtackle Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Just got mine online, very good pricing policy by Saints, very impressed, we should have over 10,000 for this match even if its on TV.
paulwantsapint Posted 15 October, 2009 Share Posted 15 October, 2009 Club have come up with good prices & kick off time that allows time to get to SMS after work Seemed that team only started playing in 2nd half against torquay ( which would have been about mid way through 1st half with 745 ko)

eelpie Posted 16 October, 2009 Share Posted 16 October, 2009 I don't quite understand the bit about season ticket holders not being able to have their usual seats. That may be because ST holders can buy as many tickets as they wish, if that is what this means (a bit vaguely written): 'The initial sales window will be just for season ticket holders, and there will be no limit on the number of seats available.' So this would upset current ST seating arrangements.

Whitey Grandad Posted 16 October, 2009 Share Posted 16 October, 2009 Its because the many season ticket holders from the Kingsland and Chapel have got to relocate their seats to either the Northam, Itchen or Kingsland Blocks 36 -39 I've been away for a couple of weeks and my brain has become a bit addled. I should have said 'Kingsland' instead of 'Northam'. In any case, I have just noticed that it is on a Wednesday night instead of our usual Tuesday so I may not be able to go after all! RedWillie Posted 16 October, 2009 Share Posted 16 October, 2009 The club really need to sort out the walk up adult price for these matches errr...they have £10 (non ST) if you get your tickets early £15 (non ST) if you leave it to the day and cause a queue getting them.... Blandford saint Posted 16 October, 2009 Share Posted 16 October, 2009 I know that they are doing their best to encourage people to buy the tickets in advance, because the queues at recent matches before kick-off have been long and slow - they can't get everyone inside before the match starts. I was really pleased that I bought ours in advance before the Torquay game, especially before a midweek game when it is a struggle to eat and get there before kick off at the best of times. Bucks Saint Posted 16 October, 2009 Share Posted 16 October, 2009 Sensible commercial thinking which rewards the fans at the same time. Maybe not genius and maybe commonplace elsewhere, but who would have thought this a few months back... Well done again ML, NC
