SaintBobby Posted 22 October, 2009 Share Posted 22 October, 2009 Like an idiot, because of a heavy work schedule, I didn't get round to ordering tickets for Leyton away before it was too late. This means I've very badly let down two friends. From what I can gather, it is possible to get tickets on the day in the Leyton end, but I badly want 3 adult tickets, next to each other, in the Saints end. Am willing to offer £50 - so a total of £150 for the three. If you're inclined to trouser some extra cash and watch the game from the home end, or experience the joys of Saints player's live "commentary", I'd be very glad to hear from you. Please PM me if you can help.

And where would you put out an open genuine request, other than the biggest and best Saints Forum??? TBF I really feel there are much greater topics to get worked up over and rant over.Your opinons about the guy not be bothered really do appear to come from the left field as it was clearly explained in the op that the guys work commitments have now change so why the need for this random rant??? Take the pill man and have a little sit down in a soft lit room!!! Have a good weekend!

wokingsaints Posted 23 October, 2009 Share Posted 23 October, 2009 why not just buy one direct from Leyon Orient? You might be in with the home fans, but as long as you don't make a fool of yourself, no probs. Well at least i've never had any probs at other ground when in with the home fans:D:D:D

alehouseboys Posted 23 October, 2009 Share Posted 23 October, 2009 Why is this game so massive to saints fans? I'm guessing this is something im too young to appreciate... Although this ground holds some good memories for older fans having virtually secured promotion there twice, I don't think this particular 'match' is "massive to Saints fans", I think our next away game was always gonna be popular after recent results. Anyways, we've already taken more away this season - 3,500 to Swindon mid-week. And should we beat MK on sat....

krissyboy31 Posted 23 October, 2009 Share Posted 23 October, 2009 i think we always tend to travel in numbers to london....I have been to quite a few away games in london and everytime we have large numbers.. probably because london is about an hour away on the train and very easy to get around This, plus the recent upturn in form, the memories Brisbane Rd hold for the older supporters, plus Barry Hearn's arrogant, misinformed comments made about us 'cheating' at the beginning of the season, plus the more people going makes even more people want to go. Oh and for many it is a new ground to go to. I think that just about covers it. Any more?

Shame this game was not billed for the end of the season, as both times we were promoted to the top division in 1966 and 1978 our promotion was guaranteed with a draw at Orient.
