Rory Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 If we're keeping it in the footballing family, may as well stick with Anthony Pulis. The guy is class.
toofarnorth Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 Guess you've got to be careful about not paying too much because of family links and a people now assuming after a bit of good form he could progress in the same way. Could be a bit of a gamble for the money they maY after.
Aardvark Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 Hmmmm.. I wonder if he would be any more succesful for us than the previous sibling of an international player we had - BWP!?

once_bitterne Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 They aren't blood related though tbf. WRONG! SWP is his adopted son, BWP is Ian Wright's biological son. IHTH.
shurlock Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 (edited) My brother found himself in a Lisbon pub with him during Euro 2004. Would have only made him 13/14 but he was hammered and singing anti-IRA songs. Will be a daft c**t for life, no doubt. But if he does join us, hopefully he's become a bit more discplined. Funnily enough I found myself on a train back from an away game with a load of Macclesfield fans last season and they started singing political songs; killed the mood a little! Slightly strange as I've also read he wants to play for Eire rather than England if the chance ever arises.
Matthew Le God Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 They aren't blood related though tbf. Yes they are! BWP and SWP are half brothers. Both have the same mother. Ian is BWP's dad and SWP was adopted by Ian.
Saint_clark Posted 10 December, 2009 Share Posted 10 December, 2009 Don't know a single thing about him. Trust Pardews judgement, but with the figures being thrown about i'd rather spend it on a proven player.

rooney Posted 11 December, 2009 Share Posted 11 December, 2009 Ther is also another ginger Rooney who was on loan to Yeovil a few seasons ago and played striker for Republic of Ireland under 21 last season. This cannot be the same one, can it?
