Deano6 Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Interesting question. For me I'll either still be out here in New York having extended my secondment, or I'll be back working in London, having bought a nice big place somewhere in the suburbs. It's a long way off before I need to make that decision tho. Interesting that you've brought it up as I've been giving it some thought myself recently. Maybe it'll hinge on whether I find a lady I want to settle down with for the long term out here, and whether I can stand the freezing streets and lack of interesting sports. One alternative that I've been giving a modicum of consideration to is that I may take another secondment somewhere else in the world. Europe would be the most obvious, but I don't speak any of the languages to any decent degree, and the Wild Card would be an Australia / NZ option. Can't see it myself tho. If I want to be on a quiet, sunny island I'll most likely emigrate to Bermuda. Put some money on that as an outside bet.

saints_is_the_south Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Hmmm, 5 years or 5 seasons? 09/10 season - Finish 8th-10th in L1 10/11 season - Finish 1st in L1 - champions. 11/12 season - Finish 12th in CCC 12/11 season - Finish 4th in CCC - promotion to premiership via play offs. 12/13 season - Finish 16th in PL. Thats 5 seasons. 5 years... 13/14 season - Finish 12th in PL. 14/15 season - Finish 8th in PL.
Bakovnetski Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 If we go up next season as champions I could see us going straight through to the Prem in one season, maybe automatic. Not a good scenario as we would then struggle in the Prem and even do a Baggies bounce. So... 2010 L1 8th 2011 L1 champs up 2012 CC 2nd auto up 2013 Prem 18th down 2014 CC Champs up 2015 to 20..... Prem top

SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2010 Share Posted 5 February, 2010 Mid-Table in the Premiership. Where we were in the early noughties, thus it would've taken about 13 years to sort out the mess...
