Trouble?

OK have I missed something? Yes there was going to small pockets trouble today but from what I heard nothing major took place so why is it that the echo and portsmouth news are headlining this and seem to be blaming each others fans?

were our fans rampaging through Freeborn motors, ripping bits off cars to throw at the pompey fans? Or is this the press again doing a bit of constructive journalism

YEs our fans did run through the garage. A stand of with about 200 saints fans and the pompey lot throwing stuff at each other. Was fun.

Either you're a ****, or you're pretending to be a ****, which still makes you a ****.

No offence like.

I got grouped in with a bunch of little ****s by the civic centre trying to get at the Pompey fans. Was pretty stupid stuff but quite funny, nothing major.

We got ushered down the hill by the police who were trying to get them round the back of Toys r us away from the station. So we went into Toys r us and played fifa for a bit.

Didn't see any actual fighting myself.

1 fat pompey fan came up giving it the large one by himself offering everyone out outside the King Alfred before the game. About 40 saints fans jumped the face and chased him down the road. He was on the floor surrounded by police a few seconds later with blood from his face.

disgusting. its absolutely pathetic. its a football match FFS

Definitely exageratted.

A few fights/ scuffles but nothing like how the press want to make a big deal out of..

This sort of thing does make me chuckle, that a few fights and scuffles is nothing.

NO violence. NO fights. NO scuffles.

That is something NOT to make a big deal out of, because it should be the norm.

Agreed - suppose it went something like this:

Reporter: sh*t gov, we're not allowed to take photos in the ground

Editor: Oh, Nicola is a real **** and it's so so unfair

Reporter: I could write a piece about Nicola and how he might be a lady boy?

Editor: Too dangerous.. how about you sit outside the ground during the game and listen to hear if you can report any banter between the crowds?

Reporter: Um, er, OK

Reporter (by mobile): Gov, it's flippen cold out here - we need a story

Editor: Tell you what, we're getting desperate now. Make up a story of violence after the match and take a few pics of police on horses and sh*t like that. Surely that'll sell a few papers?

Reporter: OK Gov, shall I throw a few coins as well?

I saw that, and his gobby mate got butted/punched and literally cried when he got up, and was holding his face. They thought they could hide behind the coppers, but they got exactly what they wanted. LOL@ the 25 stone fat mong hitting the deck. fat *****

There was a big fat Pompey fan who got kicked in by some Saints fans by the bridge/K.Alfred pub. A few minutes afterwards a guy randomly came up to my friends and I and he was telling us he came all the way from Millwall just for this match in a hope for a big fight. He told us that he booted the fat guy and tried to headbutt him a few times. We just walked away from the bloody fool.

Surely people have got better things to do with their lives than act like 10 year olds!!

I have seen a few scuffles at St Mary's amongst our own fans this season, why aren't the press reporting them?

We all know the press like to make a big deal out of nothing and they would exaggerate the truth.

It is inevitable that there would be some minor inncidents, but nothing like how the press portray it.

If the press saw a fight between 2 people they would make out like there were hundreds of supporters on each side going at it with baseball/ cricket bats!

It was all worth a chuckle from what I saw. The highlight must have been the 'yoof' I saw get on his phone after the game and scream "IT'S ALL KICKIN OFF AT KFC" when the two sets of fans tried to charge each other but then got scared and ran away from each other.

was a stand off after the game for about 10 minutes with objects being thrown. Was close to hell breaking loose.

Question is why the f*ck were the skates allowed out straight after the game? yet when we go there we're kept in for an hour!
