Could do alot worse I spose, some of names being thrown around are in dream land quite frankly. I would not be disappointed to see Phil Brown here. NO NO NO

Much rather NC went round to pardews house with a big bunch of flowers and a card that says "sorry, we want you back", however...

Second part of your post made me smile - thanks not had much to smile about this week re Saints!

I think in all fairness the Echo have called Brown and asked whether he'd be interested, rather than Brown making an open statement expressing his interest. The telling part of the interview was "so of course I would be interested..." ie that is something you offer in reply to a question.

Phil Brown would be a good choice to get us out of League 1 and the Championship, but I'm not sure he's good enough to keep us in the Prem if we get back there.

Definitely not. That players on the pitch, half time team talk has to be one of the most cringeworthy, rush of blood, disrespectful ideas ever. Most players would instantly think "Thanks Phil for making me look like a c*ck" and seemed to have been done for his own ego and nothing more.

at the time wasn't it hailed a masterstroke? The more i think about it, outside of the dream pair of O'Neill or Curbishley, i think Paul Jewell is the man for the job. He is very good at getting teams promoted.

But it would be great entertainment for those that don't feel the need to spend halftime queueing up for a pint of p!ss water and a non existant pie ... eh Turkish ;)

Maybe just alittle bit too much baggage for NC to handle!!

“For once, it wasn’t just his team that got spanked,”:lol::lol::lol:

To be honest, i didn't know any of that, dont care much for Derby. His record of promtion is exceptional though.
